I am so pleased with this clover. The seed was easy to apply and it came up quickly, within 10 days and is growing very well.

3 days to open!
I've learned the hard way about clover seeds after trying a few different kinds. The micro seeds opened in 3 days. I put them down on a cloudy day, anticipating rain. I continued to water twice a day, as the sun really beats on my lawn mid-day. These particular seeds do not grow high. They have a carpet look unlike the higher growing clover. My lawn is horrible, with mostly clay. I did rough up the dirt a bit before putting down the seed because my yard is not level, and I didn't want the washing down to the low area of my lawn. If these seeds (as all outsidepride seeds) can grow well on my lawn, they will grow anywhere. You must water at least twice a day. Once they open and you can see them, I water once per day in late morning before the sun hits the lawn..

Not micro OR mini
I pulled my entire lawn out and replaced sections of it with this. On the pro side, it did grow in easily. But this was in no way a 'micro' or 'mini' clover. I've had it for close to a year now. The size of the leaves are exactly the same as regular clover, it makes a ton of flowers, and the stems grow to about 8 - 10 inches. I read that if you 'mow it regularly, it will stay low and the leaves will be smaller'. Well, duh. If you mow it regularly, of course it stays small because it's not allowed to grow to full size. But that is not what this claims. If you want full, thick coverage (which this does well), and you don't mind it being tall with a lot of flowers that attract bees, then go for it. But you can probably get it much cheaper at your local farm store than ordering from here. I spent the extra because I thought I was paying for a micro variety. This is not that.

Very Easy to Grow
Have planted two bags of these seed and ordered two more. I used a simple grass planting tool to break up the ground surface. …I suspect that is very important. They were peaking up out of the soil in less than a week in Caliche (really bad Texas soil). Hoping this will help improve the soil and require less cutting. My only complain, there is far too little seed for my requirements. …costing me a lot more than I would have thought. Will try a seed spreader with the next two bags.

Amazing stuff
So I bought two of the 2 pound bags last year and covered a really good portion of my yard that was only dirt. It came up quickly and was beautiful, but I waited to see what it looked like this year before reviewing, I just ordered a 5 pound bag to finish the rest of my yard Today because what came up from last year is so beautiful the most fabulous color green and all the spots that had this I would not have had to mow. I’m hoping that it takes over everything else. The only downfall I can see is that I can’t spray for crabgrass without killing the micro clover , but what I did is just plant micro clover, and every spot that I see crabgrass dead from last year and I hope that the clover grow faster than the crabgrass. I will update this once I know whether or not that works. Makes an absolutely beautiful Lawn at just the right height. I cannot say enough, good things about it Also, I can say another thing about it last year during dry times I didn’t have to water it and it stayed green and beautiful

So far, so good
I have an old ribbon driveway (concrete driveway strips with grass running down the middle). We'll in my case, there is not much grass, mostly dirt and weeds. The dirt area does not receive much sunlight while the cars are parked on the driveway. I tried grass seed... they sprouted and mostly died off shortly after - due to the lack of sunlight I suppose. So I figured I would try clover and purchased a 2lb bag. I'm all for natural lawns and I don't consider clover a weed... I just wanted green coverage. So far, the little clover seeds are sprouting quickly. Had several rainshowers this week which kept them well-hydrated. I also threw some seeds in the bald spots in the lawn and the clover is sprouting up just fine. I didn't do much soil prep, just sprinkled them directly onto the dirt and made sure leaves wouldn't block their contact with the soil, that's it!I'll post an update once they mature and fill in the bald spots a bit more. So far, I'm pleased with my purchase. Only complaint is that the mini clover is a bit more expensive than regular clover seed. I'veread critical reviews about this brand which made me skeptical, but so far the product appears to be what was advertised = clover seed (not weeds). That said, I'm purchasing a 2nd bag to have on hand if any other areas of the lawn needs a patch of green. Please keep in mind, the weeds and grass in the pictures are pre-existing and are NOT what sprouted from the clover seed I received. I'm simply showing the little clover sprouts popping up approx. 5 days after sprinkling the seed around. I also sprinkled some Milorganite with the seed for good measure to help fertilize the soil as well.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT!
Ok, my yard is still in the middle of growing but I wanted to share the results so far..I started with a 2 pound bag that I bought twice then switched up to the 5 pound bag that I bought twice, so you can see the different stages of the seed growth…I just bought the final 5 pound bag to fill in the remaining spots…I prepped the really dry, hard ground by breaking the surface up with the hose set on hard steam, and broke up the ground over and over again for about a week…Then added a thin layer of good soil (just two bags)We have 2 dogs and one likes to pee on it.I’m trying to get her not to until it takes, but have been transplanting some areas from when the squirrels dig little holes onto the areas where she’s left her barren mark..So far, it's been workingI know, it’s my little paradise…Really great product.. I love the size of the clover the best… The key is to not let it dry out while the seeds are taking hold..I totally recommend this product!

Planted in areas where dogs wear out the lawn. Great that it sprouted quickly. Not sure about coverage, but small patches working well so far

Okay, so far…
When I direct sowed in my lawn initially (mid April) germination was slow and low percentage. It was about two weeks before I could see tiny clovers. As a test, I planted some indoors in a pot by a sunny window. Fewer than half germinated. But in a second test, started in late April with fresh potting mix, I have had a much better germination rate. At least 90%. The photo shows how the shoots look after 5 days.I wish it weren’t so expensive

Seeds did not grow
I purchased this seed to fill in some gaps of clover that we just planted a few weeks earlier from another store. In the gaps where this seed was placed, no seed has grown and it has been 7 days of constant sun and watering. Usually it starts to go within the first 3 days. The seeds we recieved appear to be duds. I would not recommend these seeds.

Impressed
Did a grass and clover mix on fresh top soil in my front yard. Most of the clover took. Looks good too.
