Have a 4500 gal Koi pond that has not been cleaned in several years. Do you think this would be efficient?

Will this work on a farm pond will surface algae ?

The ClearVac is designed to remove sludge/muck, algae, and debris up to 3/8". It comes with a String Algae Nozzle which separates and easily removes strands of string algae. Important Note: The ClearVac can be used with an extension cord, but it MUST be a 10 or 12-gauge outdoor-rated extension cord no longer than 50 feet. would this work on pools? There are so many times I want to quickly clean my pool without running the debris through the pool filter.

yes you could use it on a pool but the water would be on the ground or if it was just vacuum leafs and large degris you could recycle the water back in but it might make the water cloudy

How many gpm is the pump?

I cannot answer the question unless I would have the instructions in front of me, but the company(The Pond Guy) that makes it has one of the best and patient customer service I can think of and I would e-mail them or call them; we have used the pump/vaccuum for > a year now and have been sucking up mud from 6 feet and no problems -
