It seems to be well made.
Seems to work just fine. No issues. The price was good. Might be better than the wire I used for years. I also cleaned my receiver and equalizer with wd40 electronics cleaner which also helped. I also rebuilt my speakers. These are a good copper wire based on how easy they were to twist the ends for connectors.

Noticeable SOUND difference!
The copper wire is obviously a better conductor for speakers, the sound is fuller, richer. Thicker than the last wires that came with the speakers, still relatively easy to strip the ends for connecting. Looks more durable. Music is huge to my harmony, love this wire. Arrived in 2 days from order!

10/10
Did a lot of research on what is the best speaker wire for my situation gotta say this was easily one of the best purchases for my surround sound system in my house. really high-quality speaker wire if I were to ever add more this is definitely the brand that I will be using. It’s sad that I can’t buy directly from the actual company as they only do corporate sales.

Solid wire, thick jacket, easy to strip
As described, it's heavy gauge copper wire. Creates clear audio in my setup. Your results may vary. I'm using a 3.1 system with 3 Klipsch Reference (L/R/C) speakers and a Pioneer VSX-821K AVR. I paired this wire with Monoprice right-angle banana plugs. They work great together. As stated by others, the jacket is very thick and rigid. It's easy to strip with a decent pair of wire strippers but it's a bit difficult to separate the wires. I did not run into issue with the copper wires breaking while manipulating the wire nor was any of the copper wiring exposed when separating then wires. I used the plier end of the wire strippers to get the separation started then I was able to separate the rest by hand.I would strongly suggest this wire for budget minded people who want an upgrade over standard 16-gauge wire. -1 star for the jacket being thicker on the outer edge than the inner side where the wires are merged. Ideally the copper wire should run down the middle of the jacket.

Quality upgrade
Absolutely worth it. I was using over 30 year old 16ga Radio Shack cord for my vintage 1970 Marantz system, into Wharfedale Diamond 225s I upgraded to the KabelDirekt 14 gauge using WJSTN-018 braided banana connectors as wire converters to fit the tight spring Marantz connectors. I carefully listened via my old wire prior to installing the KabelDirekt and then after, Incredible difference. Bass response was immediately noticeable. Clarity and Mid range and high separation was a major improvement. Can't believe I used that old cord for many readers is a lifetime!

It's speaker cable, but it is quality!
Feels substantial and still quite flexible. Not too easy or hard to separate the individual wires and the jacket strips off easily with 14awg wire strippers. Seems to be solid copper strands. Works great in my HiFi set up.

Excellent cable, noticeable audio improvement
My main motivation for getting this cable was the speaker manufacturer for my new front LCRs recommended 16 AWG for all short runs. I only had 18 AWG, and this wasn't expensive, so why not?Despite a handful of reviews mentioning the plastic getting stripped off when pulling apart the two cables, I didn't encounter that at all. I was able to separate the cables without any issue of the plastic insulation ripping. The first thing I noticed about the wire was that it didn't actually appear wider than my 18 AWG cable. That aside, one thing that was noticeably better was that each individual strand was significantly larger than in my previous cable, and in spite of that, the cable is still plenty flexible. I found this to be important in a good way because I've had issues with many individual strands breaking off, particularly when stripping the wire or attaching banana plugs. Did not encounter that issue at all with this cable and its meaty strands. After setting up one of my speakers with the new wire, I was curious to see if it would sound any different. After playing some music in Mono mode, I found that the low end mid range came across a bit deeper and richer than the speakers connected with my older 18 AWG cable. The highs were basically the same, but an obvious improvement at the lower end. I even asked my wife to do a blind test (she didn't know which speaker I connected), and she also picked the one with this wire as the best sounding one.All and all, this is a great copper speaker wire to get, particularly at its price. If you need new speaker wire and don't need CCA, just get this and be done with it. You'll be happy.
