Jason Prescott is a very influential person, I have been awaiting the release of this book since he informed me about it. This is hands down the best guide for product sourcing. I have a wholesale supply business, and this book has changed the way we run our business. Thanks again to Jason Prescott for writing such a great book and I suggest this to any wholesaler or small business owner.

Wholesale 101 is a must-read for any business engaged in sourcing products online, particularly those new to domestic and international trade. I've known and worked for Jason in the past so I knew he was a visionary in the wholesale business, but I had no idea he could distill his vast knowledge about B2B e-commerce in easy-to-understand, laymen's language. The book provides everything you need to know to survive in the arcane world of buying wholesale goods from domestic and global trade partners, and the author also interviews dozens of sellers in the trenches, providing you with advice from the horse's mouth. You'll get exposure to information based on years of successful entrepreneurship from people on both sides of the wholesale buying and selling process which results in the distribution goods worldwide. This book is aptly titled Wholesale 101 and could be used as a textbook for a course at the university level.

Sourcing is one if the most important steps in the supply chain and Jason gives excellent insider information about the wholesale industry the entire way through and how one should go about sourcing from credible businesses around the world. I have worked in the industry before coming across this book, but as I read it, I could tell that someone who has no experience could read this book and then be able to lay a very solid foundation in their understanding of wholesale and how to get their business off the ground. This is a must read for industry veterans and small business startups.

Seriously, this book is chapter after chapter of shilling for the author’s vsourcing website. You would think a book like this would dedicate some time to alibaba, right? You know, because it is a global leader in sourcing. Nope. It gets about 2 offhand mentioned from people interviewed in the book. Otherwise, it promotes and extols the virtues of his websites. In fact, one whole chapter is literally a user manual on how to navigate the website. Seriously, a website user manual.

Good read and advice. Links and some websites writer recommended in the book (as of 12/01/2017) are too old and useless.

If you are an upstart: before paying for that business license or order those business cards "Wholesale 101" is a must read! Wholesale 101 will save any entrepreneur who ventures into this fascinating and fast changing world(experienced or otherwise)countless hours, headaches and dollars. Despite having worked in this realm, personally since 1997, I purchased 5 copies....one for me and one for my key managers. There is a lot to be learned from this book, despite any level of experience.
