This seems to be my parrots least favorite of the choices of cooked bird food. Doesn't seem to absorb all of the boiled water. It's ok!

This is becoming harder to find & has gotten more expensive unfortunately but it is one of a handful of manufactured cook parrot food my birds will eat that isn't full of alot of unhealthy items. Have been feeding this variety for over 20 years.

It's not the food..they eat all kinds of cooked bird food, the parakeets just don't like this flavor unfortunately...I have a 2.5# bag. The Quaker parakeet seems okay with it. Since not returnable I will mix very little in another brand or flavor or use oatmeal. It's good price for the bigger bag.

I have been using this for a number of years for my parrots and macaw as a supplement to their pelleted food. They all love it. Easy to prepare and I feel it fills in a lot of gaps for them and provides good variation.

My 24 yr old African grey loves this stuff. I love her. So I buy it for her whenever she eats it all. My dog also loves it. He’s always so happy when she throws some to him.
