The doors do not come with this kit, as it is just the roller track and mounting hardware. You will have to buy the doors separate.

Does the 2 door solution work for a 50" opening?

And the track I have is 5 feet/60 inches so it would work fine for a 50 inch opening

What size hardware would fit a 36" door? Would i buy a 36" or would i need something bigger?

You should measure the actual opening and then order the rail that is at least an 2-4 inches longer. That way it covers the door opening completely with no gaps. I have had to remake some doors because I made them without an extra inch or two on each side to totally cover the opening

Do I need top or side mount for bifold doors?

It mounts from the top just like a standard barn door rail. The pulley brackets swivel to allow the door to fold.
