CARAVAN MOTORHOME COMET ROMA MONOBLOC MIXER TAP

Perfect replacement for my leaking old tap.The push fit connectors look too big, but are intact the right size to fit in the same size pipe that comes with this tap.But I still added a jubalee clip.I cut the old pipe of the old tap.Placed the new tap plastic screw nut over the pipes, under the sink (don't forget to do this first).I put a bit of washing up liquid in the pipe, added the seperatly purchased jubalee clip and with a lot of effort, a pushed, the old pipes into the plastic push fit connectors.And then tightened the jubalee clips over the top to be sure of a water tight seal.Wired the microswitch wires to the caravan connectors.And finally put the tap in place, and fitted the screw nut to hold the tap in place (that we placed over the pipes earlier).And now I have a system that no longer leaks.It took me about 1.5 hours to fit.

Not too expensive and it was easy to install and works very well. When ordering make sure you request the correct tail pipe connections, I ordered 12mm and should have had a smaller size but I managed to swap the tails from the old tap.

Easy to change good quality

Thus is a good unit buy requires a larger hole to mount it. Once this was sorted installation was straightforward. The tap is relatively expensive but it comes with ceramic movement and its former tap had similar and worked flawlessly for 22yrs. Similar performance is expected I am sure. Would highly recommend it.
