New workbook. Really helps.

When typing needs improvement.

Very helpful in accompanying The Elements of Style.

I teach high school AP and introductory writing courses in college. I always have used Strunk and White as a required text. Now, as I go through papers, I assign exercises in the Workbook by writing something like “Extra Credit—Chpt 2, Ex 5, S&W) in the margin. Student writing is much improved.

This is the book I should have had years ago, before college, during college.

Great for HS review!

This book is great! For whatever reason, my kids DID NOT learn all the grammar basics we had to learn from elementary school in detail. Even the "good" districts do not do what I got in a NE "poor" school in the 80's and 90's. We are homeschooling my 15 yo; and I realized she was missing a lot of what I suppose I took for granted. This book is great and covers a lot. Easy to understand and follow along.

Good exercises based on Strunk & White's famous grammar book. Publishing the suggested answers separately or giving access to them in a password protected website would be useful when using this book in a classroom. Otherwise, the students are inclined to copy the answers provided in the book. Having the answer separately available for the teacher would be useful as many of these answers the students may give on their own.
