Safe and secure.
This is a robust wall anchor, simple in its construction but effective. Fitting it to the wall took 5 minutes - I used a 10mm masonry drill for the pilot and then, as recommended, a 16mm for the fitting holes. The anchor bolts slipped in nicely and tightened to a firm hold. A bit of tape to hold the ball bearings in place followed by a couple of whacks with tha hammer and job done. I purchased this to secure a ladder stored outside and it does the job well.

Very robust but you kinda have to be handy as mine came with no instructions.
This is quite a heavy and strong looking unit, pretty well finished too.But you do have to be a pretty competent handyman to install it.I had read that the bolts weren't up to the job in some of the reviews but the ones that came with mine were pretty heavy duty and did the job very well indeed. If the hole that you've drilled is not big enough and you try to hammer the bolts in anyway then you will cause damage to them as hammering them in with force (ie. a lump hammer) is not how they are intended to be fitted.Firstly, if you're intending fixing this to concrete, stone, paving slab etc. you will need a mains hammer drill as a cordless one will probably not spin fast (or hard) enough. You will also need a couple of masonry drill bits. I used a 10mm bit and a slightly larger one that I had in my box (possibly 14mm or 15mm) and also an 6mm allen key/driver.Firstly I drilled 10mm holes then used my larger masonry bit which was still a bit too small for the job but I managed to make the hole larger by jiggling the bit around in the hole until the security bolt sleeves fitted.Like I said you do need to be quite competent as a handyman as you never know what problems you might run into...The bolts were slightly deeper than the paving slab that I was drilling into so when I turned the bolt it just continued to spin without tightening. This meant that I had to pull the bolt (and sleeve) back up the hole and then slowly tighten slightly, tap it back in, tighten slightly, tap it in... I had to do this repeatedly until there was about and a centimetre or so above the slab level before finally driving the bolt sleeve home (flush with the slab) before removing the bolt, placing the anchor over the hole and tightening the bolt. (x2)The bolt needs an 6mm allen key or allen head driver to tighten. I used a long allen key which I tightened up fully hand tight but also used a large hammer (along with the allen key) to drive the bolt home even tighter and I feel that I could have even used a bit more effort which just goes to show how strong these bolts (and nuts) actually are.I could have used a strong hollow tube to extend the length of my allen key handle to increase the leverage but I didn't have one handy at the time. The anchor seems strong and secure and using it with my three heavy duty bike cable locks will hopefully deter any one from pinching my bike thinking that trying to pinch it would simply be too much effort.

Well built and does what I need - no instructions
Well built, happy with value and delivery. Wish it came with instructions, I embarressingly needed to seach what the bullbarings are for (knock into the hole, once fitted). I also had one of the raw plug come a part and it was a pain to rebuild. Overall though good product.

nice!!
so far is keeping my bike safe at home, after last one being stolen on my driveway, very secure and I thought it was so clever the little metal balls that come with it to be put after you screw it on so no one can unscrew it! only thing I noticed is that in the advertisement picture that's a big logo of the company and in the real product is a tiny sticker with the logo, not that it changes anything but just an observation

Solid
This is a sturdy anchor for a nice price that once installed feels immovable.Great advice on here letting you know you need a 16mm drill bit for the final hole and good idea regarding taping the ball bearing over the outer hole as it makes it so much easier to hammer it in.

Nice looking, well formed bracket
It looks nicely made, it's got a bit of weight to it and seems very sturdy. Easy to afix to the wall and quick. The ball bearings to fit in the Allen heads were a nightmare, if you were fitting the bracket to the floor, you could just position them and hit with a hammer, I was fitting it vertically, impossible to hammer in easily and nearly gave up.The graphic is a poorly applied sticker that peels off as you fit the bracket. doesn't affect it's use, just a bit pointless really and sloppily applied made it feel like a cheaper product, probably would have left a better impression without one.

The bolts let it down
I have already purchased this item before but it must have been from a different seller, as others have stated the anchor itself is great, heavy duty, the welding is good and the one I fitted hasn't rusted over a scottish winter, but the bolts let it down, they just broke withoutmuch pressure, I already have a number of these so fitted better ones, but I don't see any point in supplying inferior bolts with a very good metal anchor, supply better bolts and just add a few pounds to the price and this would be an excellent purchase. Thanks
