The consumer then has a choice of where to buy it, how much trouble then want to go to, and what price they are willing to pay for the item. So on this specific item (BBQ Rub), you may be able to purchase it directly from the manufacturer for a great price and that is terrific. If you are happy with that price and the process, you want to do what is right for your family and purchase it there. If, on the other hand, you are an Amazon prime member and want it delivered to your house in two days with great customer service from the Amazon team, you might want to order on Amazon.
