Q: It won’t open no matter how big of a magnet i use. i have bought several and it kind of sticks but will not open. how can i get it open?

The magnet has to be in the perfect spot, and then you push up on the bottom part of the shelf.

Q: will this house a 26in shot gun

No. Also be careful of the locking mechanism. Mine malfunctioned after about a month.

Q: There are 2 different descriptions, does the puck come with or not?if not how do I get one? Went on the store and didn't find it.

Sorry for the confusion! The Puck does not come with the shelf, but the shelf does have a designated spot for the Puck, if you wish to add one for added security. If you have any questions please contact our customer service department at 800-451-6797 and we will get you taken care of!
