Q: does this work with ftp?

The ECS-FPAE foot pedal is designed for use only with the free and paid versions of Express Scribe. You can add an FTP server as an incoming source in Express Scribe by going to Options/Preferences and selecting “Automatic Incoming”/“Incoming”, and adding your FTP server as a source.

Q: how long is the cable?

The cable on the ECS-FPAE is 9' 10" or 118 inches long.

Q: I don't need it for Express Scribe - just to transcribe notes from recording sent via email on Microsoft 365, but it's not working?

Sounds like you need to reach out to tech support on that one. You might need to open those recordings in express scribe or another compatible program.

Q: Does it have the option of rewinding and forwarding on the pedal?
