Beautifully engineered!
Wow. Just wow. This thing is beautifully engineered to fit perfectly in hobie kayaks. Basically ready out of the box, holds A LOT of bait and keeps them alive forever! I'm so happy i purchased this! If you have the money and are on the fence about getting this, JUST GET IT! you won't regret it!

Awesome
I trap my own minnows and bluegills and they will last all day long in the Hobie V2 live well .The battery life is around 10-14 hrs which is great in my opinion.

Works but could be better .
Works well for bait but not for freshwater keepers , need more water flow and the pump is not high flow with only 6 volts going to it . Does not have any type of fuse so you will need to put one inline. Needs handles on both ends if your going to pick it up with bait and water in it. I took off the rod holders, added thicker rubber washers because the screws were leaking right out of the box and the stock washers are very thin , will be putting handle in it's place. Needs a spray bar for more aeration, which is easy to make out of pvc. Also installed a priming bulb before the spray bar as it can be a pain to get primed sometimes.

Lack of customer service
I’m sure the livewell is great but mine never worked. I bought it in the winter and couldn’t take it out until conditions got better. Once I did the livewell never worked. I’ve tried to return it several times but the company won’t respond to me. I would not recommend buying this product from this company or anything else from them. Now I’m stuck with a nearly 400.00 paperweight. All I want is a working livewell for my hobie.

Hard to prime!
I have a hard time pedaling fast enough to prime it. Going to buy the little hand powered siphon pump to prime
