Great value for cold air.....
Took a little time to cut the window vent to fit my window gap. Old house old windows. Had to use some tape to seal the window. Worked well. Now to unit. Im in a big house, bedroom area has its own central air that isnt working. Replaced the main area of house central air a few years back. Was very expensive. Im only using one of three bedrooms so the cost vs. Use was way to much.Saw this on amazon. Thought, 239 bucks vs. 8000 was a no brainer. It is on now room is actually cold. I live in south texas so its hot outside. This ac is extremely worth the money ......

NO NO NO NO NO! Horrible! Stay away!
If I could give this negative stars, I would! DO NOT BUY! It generates too much heat while running to effectively cool even small spaces. The exhaust tube is so thin and flimsy that the heat just rolls off it.10,000 btu unit, 200 sqf roomPurchased in May 2025, installed in June because we had a cool spring. I didn’t need it until a week after the return period expired 😭 There have been days in the last three weeks where it is cooler outside than in the room (my office/bedroom) and this unit has been running for over 24 hours straight. My last AC was a window unit, only 8,000 btu. It kept this space cool and the humidity in check. I “upgraded” thinking this would be easier for seasonal use and more efficient. WOW WAS I WRONG!!!!DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT!

does the job
works well for what it is. had to go for 10,000 BTU but now im thinking about a 2nd unit for my 950 sq foot apt. this keeps whatever room im in cool.

Good enough substitute for now
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Works well. Isn’t going to keep your house cold but keeps it from being miserable. Tip for the drain pipe, we used a drill bit to make a hole the size of the pipe in the window slat and ran the drain pipe out the window so now we don’t have to worry about the timer and can just leave them running. Putting the units on a small table by the window seems to help efficiency also. Our central unit went out and can’t spring the thousands to replace it right now so I got 3 of these for our 1200 sq ft house. it’s 95 outside today and with the 3 running its in the mid 70s inside. One on each end of the house and one in the middle.

Juno save your money
3rd one we purchased newOut of box blows HOT airManufacturer support is limited lifetime warranty which is only customer support no repair or replacement ( That’s a warranty ??)No exchange availableSo my money is tied up for a week to resolve this crappy product while I sit in a 91 degree room while staring at $900.00 in air conditioners that blow HOT air!!So glad that Prime membership is worth the extra charge

LOUD
I purchased this unit several months ago in anticipation of the summer heat. In retrospect, I regret not testing the unit upon delivery, precluding a return. The exhaust hose does not properly connect to the window plates or the rear of the unit; however, this is readily addressed with duct tape. My primary concern is the excessive noise level; it is so loud that I would prefer to endure the heat rather than operate the device. Aside from those issues, the unit functions as designed and effectively cools a small room; while not reaching arctic temperatures, it provides adequate comfort.

Surprised It works
I have a F.R.O.G (furnished room over the garage this room is hot in the summer and winter here is SC. Upstairs was about 85 degrees, set it up the unit and it didn’t take long to cool down this room I had to get a blanket. I’m very happy with this purchase. I got the 10,000 btu with drain. I set it up myself and carried it upstairs. Not bad for 67 year old women, yes it was heavy, for me.Cool in SC

Missing part... Looks to be a decent one but idk
Lot of research went into choosing a decent portable air conditioner for my kiddos room when they come visit in the summer. Specifications are on point and I'm sure it would work great. Didn't get to verify this because when I opened it a few weeks ago and went to set it up i quickly realized a part was missing. It was the square adapter that goes between the hose and the unit. No it wasn't in the box, also look in between every page of the manual wasn't there either. Kind of surprised this type of error could occur on just one unit.. least that's what I gather from the reviews
