Lyuesword Japanese Full Tang Ninja Sword Battle Ready 1095 High Carbon Steel Ninja Sword Very Sharp Blade

Let me start by saying this sword is a absolute EXCEPTIONAL value for the money. Construction is superb and it does come extremely sharp. Not quite shaving sharp but a little time stropping this with the white compound and you can easily shave with it. The Saya (Scabbard) is well constructed, the fittings on it are nice but are not secured in place but that is just me nit picking. I love the iron Tsuba and yes the Tsuka (handle) is wrapped in genuine Rayskin and the ITO is Silk. The blade is very solid and is most definitely full tang. While this blade style is not meant for cutting I did a bit. It held up very well and edge retention was better than expected. I did abuse it a bit on some hard wood pieces and my form is a bit off but this blade was quite forgiving. No bends, no deformation of the edge, no chipping. It met my expectations and exceeded them by leaps and bounds. If you're looking for a gorgeous show piece that is battle ready sort of speak then look no further. If you are looking at getting into cutting then a traditional Katana would be more suited. I personally recommend their Spring Steel line as it tends to be the most forgiving to user error and take the most abuse. If you're looking for something to display and hack stuff up here and there and you like this blade style then by all means, go for it. It will hold up but as with any blade, you can damage it. Keeping a nice edge is also important so buy some raw leather, make a strop and learn how to use it. You will definitely be glad you did. So, all in all LyueSword has impressed me. I will be purchasing many more of their products in the future.

This is my second sword from this company . They make very good swords. This Ninjato is solid . The sword has a nice tight fit in the scabbard. The blade is very very sharp . Other company’s say their swords are sharp and they aren’t , but this company makes their swords sharp! Sword looks great !! Thanks again for another great product.

I've heard very good things about this company and their swords, so I decided to give them a try. I have to say, this sword is phenomenal especially at this price! Craftsmanship is great. It came very sharp out of the box as well just like I wanted it. It's full tang and battle ready as advertised. Fittings are good quality and sturdy. I can't believe a sword at this price range is THIS good. After practicing cutting bottles and tatami mats, there was no damage to the blade or any edge rolls. I will be buying another one soon. Their other more high-end swords made of T10 steel are stellar as well. The customer service from the seller is great. They go out of the way to contact you and make sure you are satisfied with the product and will be more than happy to help if there are any problems or if you have any special requests for customization. I have absolutely no complaints.

Its a very nice blade. Good weight to it. Havent done any cuts yet with it. Im sure due to come. Quality and craftsmanship seems to be on point.

I took an Iaido class (Japanese sword quickdrawing technique) and they had us use practice swords, made of a different metal, and blunt edges. These practice swords were realistic in other respects, handle construction, balance, saya (scabard) etc. This sword is like that, but real. I practiced some kata with it, and the saya functions perfectly. The balance is perfect. And the blade is REAL. It comes oiled to prevent rust, and is not quite sharp enough to shave with, but it is sharp like a good chef knife.
