I put them on everything!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I’ll use Fumoto drain valves on every vehicle and engine I own. I’ve put them on my last few vehicles, my tractors, and anything else that needs an oil change. The quality is top notch, classic reliable Japanese engineering. They make draining oil effortless and way less messy. The install is quick and straightforward, and I have never had a leak or problem. This one went on my Toyota Sequoia and fit perfectly. It did not interfere with the skid plate or anything else. Oil changes are much easier now and I don’t have to deal with stripping the drain bolt or making a mess. Absolutely worth the money if you want to save time and keep things clean. I recommend these to everyone.

Fits 2023 Gen 3 Tacoma
The media could not be loaded. Been using it for almost year, I drive very aggressive on the street, and highways, regularly standing on the gas pedal every chance I get as well as blasting through many 20mph and even some 15mph speed bump on stock suspension it did not come close making contact with the ground, and also not a single leak at all. Really easy to install, and even better to change your oil.For me to change my oil I only need a socket wrench for the skit plate and the oil filter attachment. Draining the oil with this makes zero mess. Definitely worth getting one if you are doing your own oil change.Although the gasket included definitely will not last a lifetime through the many heat cycles it goes through.

Excellent product, quick oil change without the mess!
Excellent product, makes oil changes a breeze without a mess. I've had these on my vehicles for a while (this is the latest one I've purchased for a new vehicle) and they have not disappointed. No leaks, no messes!! I definitely recommend this product!! Great quality and fitment.

Perfect for at home Oil Changes
I have always changed my oil myself and never thought this item was out there. I was skeptical at first because I was scared of leaks or maybe something hitting it to cause the oil come out. I had this product for more than 2 oil changes already and everything was perfect. The valve has a push and pull system to open the oil which would make it very hard to accidentally spill out oil.Oil changes have been super easy now and definitely worth the money. The design of the valve makes oil come out slower than normal so i'd recommend you to warm up the oil for a while before doing an oil change and giving plenty of time for all the oil to drip out. You don't have to worry about hot oil hitting your skin because the valve already dictates exactly where the oil will be at.

Good quality and very practical design
Drain lever build reflects a good quality material and the design is very practical. It has a lock that prevents any leaks after being installed in your car oil drain tank. It is value for your money in this lever and make your oil change routine super easy.

No mess oil drain
I like to do my own oil changes and I wanted to try using this engine drain on my ‘07 Tacoma. It was very easy to install and it fit perfectly. The opening for the drain is small which makes it take a long time to drain the oil. That’s the one thing that I don’t really like. The appearance looks nice. It’s now four years later and it’s holding up nicely. I’ve never had any leaks since I installed it, which is great. I would recommend this product even though it does take longer to drain compared to using the stock oil plug.

Kubota AV6500 Install
Installed this on a Kubota AV6500 generator with Kubota GH400 engine. I had to unbolt and lift the engine slightly off of its base for clearance to install the valve which was accomplished easily. I also had to insert a washer as a shim between the blue gasket and the valve for proper alignment shown in attached photo. It was a fairly easy install and worth the little extra work to install for clean oil changes in the future. It would be helpful if FUMOTO had detailed drawings of their valves for installation purposes.

My third install of this valve. Latest one on a 2019 Honda Ridgeline
This is my third time installing this valve on my cars over many years. With this iteration, I really like the fact you can attach a clear hose and drain it into an old milk jug or dedicated container. No splashing in a catch can, no messy wiping up the catch can and all those paper towels to dispose of. Make no mistake, this is a quality product made from brass and the lever is very secure and under spring pressure to ensure it’s in the closed or open position. Now they give you a plastic retainer clip to keep the lever from moving, but it’s really not necessary and I think they did that to give peace of mind to those fearful of the lever moving inadvertently.
