Works as well as the container from another brand that it replaced.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I needed to replace an Oxo pop container of similar size. The pop mechanism of the Oxo broke after several years use. Ideally, these would have had the same dimensions as the container I'm replacing. In fact, these are a little wider. The container material and pop lid are also darker. For the record - not bad, just different. From what I can determine, the this product seems to get a secure, air-tight seal. I used the container to store breakfast cereal. I don't eat cereal for breakfast ofter and I've found that these containers seem to delay the cereal getting stale. I saw that someone was expecting a vacuum seal. These are not designed to do that - the simply provide an airtight seal. The seal seems every bit as good as the one that the older container provided before it broke.

Nice air tight containers
I like these air tight containers a lot. I use one for oats and the other for protein powder. They keep everything fresh with no worries about staleness, mold, or bugs. Nice size, too.

Pop tops
These are a nice size and great for small packages or tea/coffee/sugar. I love the wider openings. I purchased 2 sets for small kitchen space. Only thing is when washed the pop tops held some water that came out with shaking and the elastic band around the edge of the tops slipped.
