I just got mine in and the red is ok but pretty blurry, but the green has a double reticle. Can this be fixed or is it just bad?

It is possible you have astigmatism. The easiest way to check is to take a picture of the reticle turned on, then look at the pic you just took. If it's clear then it's your eyes, if blurry, the unit is bad. Hope this helps.

What magnifiers will work with this site? I know Sightmark will but would like to know if other brands would work

It is always best for alignment purposes that you stick to the same brand. Unless a third party is testing all combinations of brands and measuring them precisely, no one can say what works with what best. Most brand combinations will be close though.

What is the purpose for the wire coming out of the battery cap?

It is there so you dont lose the battery cap

Hows the durability when i comes to a 223 caliber does it stay sighted in after multiple uses?

I have a Sightmark Ultrashot M-spec reflex sight. It has night vision as well on mine and I absolutely love it! I zeroed it in when I first got it, and it still shoots true to this day! I paid $250 for the LQD version, but you can get the FMS for $200. They're worth every penny! I'll never use another sight fot my AR! They're both "Military spec" sights. That's why they're higher, but well worth it. You want have to buy another sight!
