you can map out what key it presses, so it's pretty easy to use. I've been stepping on it for a couple months and it's no louder than a click of a keyboard, works with steam and discord. I use it for push to talk a lot of the time.

If you are look for a pedal to enhance your push to talk experience, this is one to go with. Unlike other similar models, this device will allow you to use the software PC Sensor, and setup a "long press". Otherwise the button will act as a single key stroke happening one time, which is then instantly let go, making it not workable for discord.The other benefit to this model is that there is no loud clicking sound when the pedal is pushed down.It feels slightly more fragile than other devices i've tried, but i have a light touch with electronics, so i am not very worried. I will update this review is any damage / failure occurs with use.

Works really well after using software to bind it properly.As a warning, I opened the packaged without realizing that there was a cd disc in the back of the package. Because I didn't know, I cracked the cd into pieces. Thankfully there is software online that takes care of it in a minute so everything works great.

I've had this pedal now for over 3 years, and I must say it's been totally worth it. I do a variety of gaming and this pedal has been useful in many different ways. I use it as a "push-to-mute" function in voice chat, or as a Star Power activator for Guitar Hero.You never know when it will be handy to have this, and it's so inexpensive! Don't be that guy who vapes, chews, or otherwise makes loud noises on the mic!

I had one before that was lost during a move and recently got another. The material is the only thing I have issue with and that's mainly because it feels like it could fall apart at any moment. The one I had before lasted for years, but I just thought they would have improved the material since then. The cord is nice and long so I could plug it in the back of my rig and have it travel a bit to reach me (I'm a bit on the shorter end). Also, they improved the software A LOT and it's so much easier to use!

Wii Guitar Hero Guitar Control has no tilt control to activate star power on PC, so this is my star power essentially, AND it fits in with the rockstar performance theme. The software is very simple to install and configure to any input you desire. It works like a charm in Clone Hero and doubles as an easy push to talk in FPS games so you don't have to take your fingers off the important keys.

I bought it years ago and it had an issue where it stopped working pretty much right after I'd press it the first time. The application for it constantly crashes. I got a new computer and finally just pulled it out, expecting maybe it was an issue with my outdated build. Nope. This pedal just doesn't work.

I like this pedal. My old pedal wore out, the plastic wore through at the hinge. I bought this one to replace it. It gets three stars because this new one it is mechanically the same as the old one. It loses two stars because the software is obsolete.Years ago I bought the pedal and programmed it to act as if it presses a space bar. To use the pedal on Mac OS, it needs to be programmed on an Windows computer. I programmed it on a Windows computer that was current at the time.Fortunately for the new pedal, now I have VMWare and Windows 10. Unfortunately, the software for this pedal does not work properly on VMWare and Windows 10. Even the version 7.1 that I downloaded from their web site today does not work. In fact, now that I read the product description closer, it says it does not work with Windows 10. Silly me for buying a product from Amazon in 2020 that went obsolete in 2015.However, the hardware is unchanged from the old version. I disassembled my old pedal, removed the circuit board and cable and put them into the new assembly. It works fine now.If you buy it now, you'll need access to an old PC to program it.
