They stay up as far as they go but they are ankle socks so not too much 'up' for scope! However, they are great socks, the best I've bought. Nice fit, very comfortable, don't pinch the ankles and wash fabulously retaining their softness. I'll definitely buy more of these.

Q: Are these long lasting/durable or do they ware/hole easily? Thank you

Have found them to be very good, very comfortable, still no holes in mine, have had them a while now. The only problem I found with them is that they are not colour fast, therefore the colour runs very easily.

Q: would the beige ones be okay to wear with sandals in a hot country please? thanks

I'm sure they would — I always wear short socks with sandals, and have done so in (e.g.,) the Borneo, Nepal, the UAE and Vietnam.

Q: Where are these socks made?

Hi: I think is made in Turkey. The colour runs while washing.
