This is a great model! Many of the other "book nooks" are pretty easy and can be built in a few hours. This one took me over 18 hours which made it even more rewarding.The only problem I had was that the front portion of the buildings placement was marked incorrectly on its base. I figured out a work around so it was all good.

The media could not be loaded. I have glue all over my fingers and a creak in my neck but it was so worth it!! It’s so beautiful with lots of texture and small details. It took longer than expected but it was fun to build and the quality of all the items was better than other sets I’ve done. Love it!!

I’ve done many nook books and this one was the most difficult that I have worked on. The reason is there is an excessive amount of parts in the Z-pack that are not labeled and the book photos do not show well so you’re uncertain as to what items to use. There were also items pictured in the book that were not in the kit. Some of the wood is exceptionally frail so breaking then gluing is a common action. Some of the instructions are missing steps. The wiring was very simple.The item is really attractive, but it has definitely been a struggle to get there.

I loved this but there were several issues with it. The instructions were vague, lacking, and at times impossible to read without a magnifying glass. I ran out of all the wire and string, there were no pieces left for the wheels of the cart (last piece to be assembled), and I don't belive there were enough of the right sized beads for the various potion bottles, although I suppose it doesn't matter since much of that detail becomes buried or hidden. I considered getting another of this kit as a gift but have decided against it because of the reasons I've stated.

I bought this because I wanted to make a book nook for my Harry Potter books and had no clue it would have such details that pertain to Harry Potter! I’m so excited!

The kit arrived on time, thank you.I just started, so what I know so far. The book shelf assembly is backwards and I had to break off the bottom of the lamp to make it work.Also what I know is there are beads missing. No purple pear-shaped bead. The picture shows a pinkish color but the description says a white bead. It says medium but it would have been better to package beads by mm size. It's rather confusing since pictures are not really clear when it comes to the tiniest pieces.I will update as I go.
