I want to note first of all that I received some excellent customer service from Exploter via both Amazon and Whatsapp. The item I purchased via Amazon Warehouse had some vague instructions, and didn't need the video-in cable, but it didn't work fully with my 2011 Lexus GS 350 (non-Mark Levinson). Everything worked EXCEPT the switch to OEM reverse camera when shifting to reverse.First customer service sent me a new, different video harness via DHL (super fast!), and files to update the firmware via USB, which I did in the wrong order and messed up 😄 bricking my unit. When I shared this news, they sent a whole NEW unit that worked including reverse camera with no issues after installation, and seems faster in performance than the older unit!Installation can take as little as 45 minutes - in the GS, I highly recommend installing in the glovebox and popping out the panel on the inside left to route the wires from behind the stereo unit. This solution works perfect if you want to keep all the OEM functions, AC, etc. -even the volume/temp change overlays are preserved in the Linux mode. it swaps with a long press of the voice button on the steering wheel pretty fast. uses OEM stereo and microphone pretty seamlessly too. If you're not afraid to unplug and replug some wires into a harness, it's a great item to modernize your 3rd generation GS!
