I wanted a case that would protect my iphone if I dropped it and keep the lenses covered so they don't get damaged in my pocket or purse. I've had it for a week now and dropped the phone a few times and the case works great. I didn't put a glass protector because I think it sometimes gets in the way of selfies so I don't know if that would stick out past the front of the case. It might because it doesn't stick out too much. The thing that slides to reveal the camera lens seems sturdier than I imagined it would be. It even locks into place so it's not flimsy. It's a little bit of a pain to have to slide it to take a pic (and you have to slide it all the way or it blocks the lens a little bit) but that's just because I'm not used to it yet. I wish it came in other colors but this one is fine. I was worried about the rough looking bumps on it (to make it easier to grip) but it's not annoying and I don't even know that it's there. Although the case isn't as sleek and lightweight as my family members that have clear cases, I was worried about protecting the camera lens so I had fewer options. All of the buttons and plugs are easily accessible. All of the buttons are covered by the case except the part that you use to adjust the camera shot. It's just a cutout for the original button. I've had no trouble plugging things into the USB-C port including dongles or chargers. So it's roomy enough for that. All-in-all I'm happy with the case. It does what I wanted it to--protect the phone at the expense of style.

This case fits very well. The camera cover slides to the side and locks in place on either end. It is strong and durable, but I do find that sliding it makes me wipe my fingers across the lens so I need to wipe the lenses when I need to take photos. The kickstand leaves a lot to be desired. It does not have a tight grip so you can’t really angle your phone to rest on the kickstand. You have a very limited range of how you can stand up the phone. It works, but it could be a LOT more solid. It’s a missed opportunity for a case that has all the features I want, but didn’t execute that well. The protection the case offers is great! It’s not perfect, but I still would recommend it for someone who uses the kickstand a lot less than I do.

I purchased this phone cover and got it several days after receiving my phone. So, when I first started using my phone I did not have this cover. I found that often times my fingertips would smudge the phone lenses and honestly, the iPhone 16 pro max is just too darned thin and gets too hot to the touch without a case.I really like this case and bought it primarily for the cover that you can slide over in front of the lenses to protect them. This always keeps the lenses clean and protected. Only slight challenge is you have to remember to slide open the door so you can take a picture. It door stays in place when open or closed. The case makes the phone so much easier to hold and still allows me to carry it in my pants cargo pockets and jacket pockets. It also has a nice little kick stand to prop the phone either horizontal or verticals on a flat surface. A great quality is that the case keeps the heat from the working phone from reaching my hand with prolonged use. The magnetic charger works well through the case or you can just stick with the usb-c charger which fits in the openings at the bottom of the case.I just wish this company had brighter colors like red or brighter blue to make the phone easier to find. I got the brightest one they had on Amazon which was blue, but it’s a nice looking dark blue. The case does not add that much to the size or weight of my Apple 16 Pro Max. I will most likely buy this phone case in the future if needed.

I like the feel of the hand. It is hard to get used to sliding the lens protector back for photos. I have arthritic thumbs, and I have a more challenging time with the sliding.
