Solid build, versatile
The Divoom Tiivoo-2 Pixel Art Mini TV is an interesting and unusual device. It's small but polished and seems to be well made. It arrives well packaged in a solid plastic hard shell case which reminds me of a 1950s refrigerator. The device itself looks like a 1950s TV (not a computer from any tikme during mylifetime, or before then, that I am aware of.It's a bluetooth speaker which can be used as an alarm clock, stop wath, digital clock, gallery for photos or pixel art. It can play music transmitted via bluetooth or SD card, or flash drive. It displays lyrics, photos, pixel art, and has the ability to add efects both auditor and visual. The quality of the speaker surprised me. It would not be my first choice for music, but is better than I had expected. I like the ability to play from cards or flash drives because I have between looking for a long time for an alarm clock which did not need to be tethered to a phone. There is o question at all that the primary focus here is pixel art. Their mobile app is all about it, creating and displaying iot, with a community built around it.My issue with i5t, and the main reason for my 4 star rating is how intrusive it is in tewrms of privacy. The app is free (in the play store and itunes/ apple store) but it's another app which is free because they collect data, a lot of it. You need to set up an account to use it, give them your email and phone number, and turn on all of the things I habitually turn off (and do not want to have to turn on to use a pixel art app). Fortunately the speaker and other functions do work independent of the app. I think there is reason to be concerned with an app which is clearly taryget4ed at children which collects so much information, and which creates vulnerabilities (if you switch on all the things they want you to, and provide th4e requisite permissions: contacts, photod, phone log). The packaging looks like an instant gift. I am sure my daughter would say it is adorable, and my son would call it slick. It's a well put together package, but parents will want to consider the cost in privacy.

A Top Pick Gift
Tivoo2 is a smart pixel speaker.Unique, playful, and excellently designed, it is perfect as a gift. Its appearance resembles an old television enhanced with vibrant colors. It is well built. The compact size holds plenty of features. Battery life is impressive. It delivers great quality sound. It comes with multiple features: radio, Bluetooth, and a TF card slot. The speaker can display pixelated lyrics while the music plays, and you can connect it to an app to showcase images and projects on its screen. Additionally, it functions as an alarm clock and includes various amusements like puzzle games.Plenty of entertainment value in an easy to use small device makes this one of the most wonderful gifts you can give if you can bear to part with it.

gimmicky
so this tiivoo-2 retro radio bluetooth speaker is kinda gimmicky in my opinion it looks cool with its vintage design and the whole idea of being a modern tech spin on an old tv is neat but honestly it feels overpriced for what you get the sound quality is fine but nothing special and while it does have a lot of extra features like the photo frame and clock dials i just dont find them all that useful the pixel art thing is fun for a bit but again not something i really needed the build feels decent but it’s mostly just a novelty item more than a practical speaker i do like that its portable and can be used for multiple occasions but for the price i expected a lot more overall its just ok if you’re into retro tech and don’t mind paying for the looks you’ll probably like it but for me it was a bit of a letdown

Pixel Art Mini TV
I love this little thing! Is it necessary? No. But is it fun? Yes. It’s a speaker, mini display, clock, alarm, and entertainment all into one little device. I downloaded the free app, which lets you find different pixel art made by other creators, or you can also make your own. I find the app easier to navigate so I mainly set everything up using that, but you can set the alarms and change the face from the device itself. There’s little games on it, you can have the weather displayed, or even a little slide show of your own photos. It’s rechargeable, so you can put it and take it anywhere. My kids love it too, and can’t wait to try out other pixel art.

cute and function well
This speaker comes with a carrying case for protection. Given its appearance and package, it is a very good gift idea. The speaker is quite loud for its size, which I am surprised. Though public radio is not mainstream now, I still appreciate the ratio function, which I don't need Wi-Fi or data to operate. The sound quality is good for me because it won't produce extremely high-pitched or unpleasant noises. However, I need to register an account to use most functions I don't like. It is only my personal preference. I am tired of adding so many accounts.
