Great gift for the Dungeon Master in your life. My friend loved this gift. He uses it for all of our game nights. The colors are bright and it helps make the game so much more official.

I like this. It's fun to have a little light board for your player's initiative scores so they can see who goes next. There's lots of color and pattern settings on the remote so you're not just stuck with white and you can theme it to the game.That being said, there are some issues. Straight out of the box, the USB power cord did not work. I thought I had received a dud, but thankfully putting batteries in did work. Also, the touch power button on the base does not work, but the remote does. So, points off for some non-functionality but, at least for me, the batteries are more convenient anyway and the on/off from the remote works just fine so it's not a huge deal. Just know that your power options may be reduced to battery only if the one you get is like mine.Still, fun and useful but I can't give 4 or 5 stars to something that doesn't fully work as intended.

Does the trick and works fine, but it is a bit flashier (no pun intended) than I usually prefer for my gaming, I somewhat prefer top-of-screen markers, but those can be a bit more of a pain to set up properly, so this actually has some advantages. I suppose we'll see over time which I prefer.

The power cord does not work there is no connection internally to connect to. The remote is poorly made and is half unstuck causing it not to be read or whatever. The power button is imbedded on the plastic but is not operation. Overall, this is a piece of garbage.
