Impressive Performance and Design — A Solid Weekend Warrior Shop Compressor
I was initially hesitant to try the Nessxa 10 Gallon Ultra Quiet Air Compressor due to mixed reviews, but I'm glad I took the chance. It's rated at 2HP (though I haven’t verified wattage), and it has a compact footprint with a clean, well-constructed design. The dual quick couplers—one for full tank pressure and one for adjustable pressure—these are extremely convenient and something I use frequently. It includes two serviceable air filters, one for each motor. I haven't checked compatibility with other brands yet, but it's a nice touch for maintenance.Performance-wise, it exceeded expectations. From 0 to 115 PSI, it filled in exactly 1.02 minutes (verified across three tests), which puts the calculated CFM around 10.27—higher than its rated 8.75 CFM. That said, this was an unloaded test (no tools running), so real-world performance might differ slightly. Recovery during use seems to support around a 50% duty cycle when using a full-open air attachment.Noise levels are reasonable—definitely quieter than my old 30-gallon unit. While I don’t mind a bit of noise in the shop, the reduced sound is a welcome improvement.Overall, it’s a solid, well-featured compressor that I’m happy to have in the shop. Looking forward to seeing how it holds up over time.

Great for Spray Painting and Woodworking Projects
I picked up this 8 gallon air compressor mainly for spray painting and woodworking, and it’s been exactly what I needed. It runs much quieter than I expected, which is a huge bonus in a home workshop setting. The compressor holds pressure well, fills up quickly, and handles my paint sprayer and air tools with no issues. Assembly was super simple, just had to attach the wheels and it was ready to go.It’s portable, reliable, and doesn’t take up too much space, which makes it perfect for moving between different parts of the garage. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. A great value and performance for the price.

Quiet, Powerful, and Perfect for My Shop
I recently added this 8-gallon ultra-quiet compressor to my shop, and I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. Right out of the box, it felt solid and well-built. What really impressed me is how incredibly quiet it is—even while running, I can still carry on a conversation without shouting or needing ear protection. That alone makes it a game-changer in a workshop environment. The tank size is just right for most of my tools—nailers, air blowers, inflators, and even some light impact work. It refills quickly and holds pressure consistently. I’ve run it for extended periods during projects and it doesn’t overheat or struggle to keep up.This compressor is a great balance of portability, performance, and noise control. If you’re looking for a reliable, shop-friendly air compressor that won’t drive you nuts with noise, this is the one to get.Highly recommend for any home workshop or garage setup.

Fairly priced silent air compressor
The media could not be loaded. Packaging was pretty decent but could be better as the Styrofoam just barley stayed together by the time it got to my house, and there was some light damage on it (still works fine luckily). Over all the build quality looks good at first glance especially for the price and the black powder coat paint job looks sleek as well. Super easy to assemble (will need phillips head screwdriver & 14mm wrench to attach the wheels and a 1/4in racthet with 10mm socket to connect bottom rubber stand) and don't forget to use Teflon tape on threads of muffler before installing. This air compressor turned on first try and aired up properly & fairly quickly to 150 psi, as well released the pressure properly via release valve. This 8 gallon model is still very manageabley sized and easy to move around shop and way quieter than a regular air compressor which everyone around will appreciate! I do think this model can be made to be even more silent though by adding a rubber hose aprox the same size as the muffler hole into the end of it.

Good value and excellent build quality.
Build Quality: Very good. Compressor is very sturdy, no major leakage, and very easy to use and has a nice weight.Functionality: For home use. You do not need more capacity. It is not too loud and if you have the accessories, you can different things. Like nailer and dusting.Cost: Great value for the price and personal use.

Don’t waste your time, the specs are a lie.
The rated CFM is not even 3 though it states 5 @90 psi. It’s more like 2.4@90. On top of that, it’s an 8 gal not 10 gal. If they can lie about that who knows what else is a lie.I ended up returning this and picking up a Husky 4.5gal, 175 PSI 3scfm @90 psi Quiet air compressor. It’s a lot more powerful than this one, and it doesn’t get nearly as hot. I don’t get how this listening is still up on Amazon.

Boy this is Quiet!
Well, my children gave me a lot of Venmo's for Father's Day. They each gave me a dollar amount and all I had to do was to order from my wish list on Amazon. This was the 2nd item on my list. 1st was a shop chair and this was next. I really wanted a second Air compressor for my basement workshop. I have an older model Ingersol-Rand up in the garage, it's been a good one, but it is loud as can be. This Nessxa Air compressor is quiet!!! It has all the features I want and is portable too. I recently bought a Gasoline powered generator so that I can use the combination of these two tools anywhere I need it. Both are very portable (Low Weight). It fills the tank quickly and cycles off automatically when it reaches the desired pressure. By the way, someone wrote that this air compressor has no adjustments for the air pressure. That is not accurate. It is right on top of the valve. It is an adjustment screw that is recessed for protection. Just use a Phillips screw driver and dial the pressure you want to maintain. It was easy to assemble, just put on the wheels and front leg. It works well and looks very durable, so I am sure I will have it for a number of years. It's a perfect fit for basement workshop.
