Love this game!Family members who aren't board gamers found the initial explanation a little complicated but after the 2nd round of turns, they saw how simple it actually is.There's enough strategy for those who like to think a bit more deeply about how to optimise their turns but it's straight forward enough for less experienced players to just go with the flow.Every time we've played, once the first person capsizes someone else or steals a tile from under them, suddenly it's open season & a good-natured but brutal battle for survival begins.There are plenty of twists & turns every game, so many different ways to approach how you play & you construct the terrain of the board each time so no 2 play-throughs are ever the same.All round great fun & a decent amount of components for the price, nothing too high end but sturdy & decent. The box isn't too large either so it doesn't dominate the game shelf uneccessarily.Purchased it after seeing a brief outline of it in someone's Top 10 games on YouTube & very glad I did as I haven't found a person who's played it with us who doesn't enjoy it or want to play again.

I was looking for an older anniversary version of this game I've played before. However I took a chance with this one as it was cheaper and I'm glad I did. Fantastic game. Easy yo set up and easy to play. would reccomend.

I've only played it with my 5 year old but we loved it. It's simple clear rules make for a fast paced and fun game. You will definitely be betraying your friends and family to save your own meeples.I especially love that the beach, jungle and mountain tiles are all different thicknesses so it looks more like an island.I would recommend this to any boardgame collector.

Got this for Christmas and loved playing with the family. Takes a bit to understand the rules but then it's really straightforward and fun. It's a competitive game not cooperative but still fun.

I bought this to have an easy game for the family and get everyone involved, even hubby who isn't much of a board game player. We all enjoy playing it.
