The heat mat might be good for its purpose. However, the implication from the Amazon listing is that there is a thermostat included. There is not. The product spec clearly states there is a temp range you can choose when using the mat. You can't, because there is no thermostat. The box the mat comes in also repeats the heat level options.

Used these as a heating mat to keep a battery pack from freezing in the winter. Seems to work just fine.

It's easy to use,and has been doing the job for a week.Temp control is easy to figure out.All in all I'm happy with the purchase,let's just see how long it lasts.

I presume these are supposed to provide an even warmth to help with the germination period of seeds.These pads took 15 mins before they started to get warm, then they both got red hot, almost too hot to touch but only in a small area of the pads.I'm just hoping it hasn't boiled the seeds I was growing before I turned them both off.I was looking for support for this item but Amazon doesn't allow support, only a "Friendly return" service.I didn't want to send negative feedback, I would have much preferred to give the seller a chance to rectify the issue, then I could have given a more in depth feedback. I would like to think that I was reading reviews with full depth, this is obviously why some items have lots of 4s and 5s and also lots of 1s.In my opinion this does not give a prospective purchaser a real picture of how good the item, or the seller , is.
