Got a used Tesla Y, had an electrician install a 220 (same as a Dryer outlet) in the garage. The car came with a generic charger for a 110 (regular outlet) that took WAY too long to charge. This charger has been fantastic. Charges in just a few hours with the 220 outlet. No need to supercharge or get a wall unit charger.

Not worth it , pay an extra $100 or so for a charge that won’t break immediately

so far worked well for charging a Tesla model 3. I could not tell that it gets hot or not. As I charge overnight the speed was also not critical to me but it so far indicated charging with 32A.
