Multi player version of a classic dice game
This game arrived in a bright box with the board inside wrapped in plastic film, to keep it protected. It's a multi player version of the classic "Shut The Box" game. We have a single version at the moment so this allows for up to 4 players at the same time - rather than passing the smaller one from player to player. This iteration is numbered from 1 - 10 on each side and comes complete with two wooden dice.It doesn't come with any instructions, however these can easily be found online. There are a few different versions though, so you need to choose the one you like best. We play a simple version where you can only add the numbers when flipping down the pegs and then total the numbers left when your turn is over. After 6 rounds the player with the lowest overall score wins. The numbered pegs are quite small and lightweight so you have to be very careful when throwing/retrieving the dice, as they move at the slightest touch so it's difficult not to, accidentally, knock them over.At £9.99, at time of review, it's quite cheap for a multi-player version of the game but the quality reflects this. It's also a great way for kids to improve their basic maths skills whilst having fun.
