Utter garbage and awful support
Seller wants to nickle and dime me and make me jump through hoops because this keyboard will not connect via bluetooth or wifi. i have 3 other keyboards that connect in this way and know how it works. I am following the instructions, but the seller wants to ask me to do 1 new thing every day, just to burn time. The latest is, to take a video of trying to connect the keyboard and it not connecting. All of this just to avoid sending out a replacement $2 dongle for a £170 keyboard.avoid avoid avoid. they don't even know their own instructions.

Exceeded My Expectations.
I’m absolutely blown away by this keyboard! I own the Glorious GMMK 3 PRO, which costs nearly $400, but the KiiBoom Loop is right up there in terms of premium feel—maybe just a bit less polished (maybe it's just the knob implementation), but not by much. The typing experience on the KiiBoom Loop is WAY more satisfying and creamier—it’s smoother, the stabilizers feel more solid, and the keycaps are higher quality. Plus, it has cushioning, which adds to the comfort. While the Glorious is solidly built, the typing feels more rigid, whereas the KiiBoom’s keystrokes are truly luxurious. It delivers the kind of premium experience you’d expect from a much more expensive keyboard.I honestly enjoy typing on the KiiBoom Loop 65 more than on my Glorious. Fact.Fantastic job, KiiBoom! I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on your future products.”

Compact keyboard is for serious gamers
The media could not be loaded. As soon as you lift the box that the keyboard is in, you know you're about to witness something amazing. This keyboard is built solid, and has a really nice heft to it. I've never felt a keyboard this heavy and solid in my life. And the metal looks attractive and feels great. But how well does it work? Well, Really well .... if you're a gamer. This compact mechanical keyboard is definitely targeted at gamers with it's RGB lighting, fast response, and compact design. Coming in at only 66 keys, it's 21 keys less than a TKL keyboard by forgoing the function keys among others. The keys switches are also replaceable if you want to swap them out for a different type; but honestly of the other gaming keyboards I've tried over the years, I like these switches the best (for gaming). For the office I prefer quiet keys.As good as this keyboard is, I did have a couple minor issues with my unit. Initially I couldn't use the spacebar; it wouldn't move. Turns out some padding had dislodged (presumably during shipping) but it was an easy fix by removing the spacebar using the included tool, and putting the silicone strip back in it's track. This other issue I've noticed is that the height of some of the keys is not uniform with their left/right neighbours, and I don't believe this is by design. For instance, on the top row the #4, #5 and #9 keys are 1-2 mm higher than their neighbours. It's a minor issue, and doesn't seem to impede my typing skills. I may try to reseat them and see if it changes anything.Pros: + Fast response and tactile feel and sounds great (if you like clicky keys) + 3 options to connect (Wired, BlueTooth, or 2.4GHz using dongle) + Volume dial, mutes when pressed + Customizable RGB lighting effects + Solid weight and anti-slip padding make it durable and stable on desktop + Compact design, only 66 keys. + Massive 4000 mAh battery for wireless gaming. (Also charges during use if connected)Cons: - No CAPS lock indicator - No Multimedia keys beyond volume controls - Some uniformity issues with key heights - No HOME or DEL keys. Have to use Fn+Backspace to delete. If you're a gamer and are looking for a compact keyboard and are happy with the 66 keys layout, then I'm confident you will be happy with this one. Office users, I would look elsewhere.

Even artwork needs to be improved now and then
And that's how I feel about this board. While I, in particular, don't have any issue with it, from an objective perspective, I can see where users may run into issues with it.Firstly, the disassembly of this board can be quite a mess. The beautiful 2-piece design for front and back lends well to its aesthetic, but is functionally a disaster when it comes to taking it apart or putting it back together. It's because instead of dealing with the typical 1-2 piece design for disassembly, you're dealing with 4 slabs and 2 side accents that can fall out.But I believe that these are criticisms for people in the enthusiast hobby and not necessary for the average user. From the normal user perspective, it types smooth, soft and a bit heavy. 65% layout is one of the most practical "minimalist" style that you can find, as it will include navigation and arrow keys and will lack the function and numpad, which are rarely used by most people. The smaller TKL layout allows for more desk space and ergonomic sitting position with proper spacing of arms between keyboard and mouse.Anyways, love it, but also, irritated at the disassembly.

New KiiBOOM Loop 65 high-end compact model. Heavy.
Like a new baby, this is demanding attention forcing me to put aside my full-size gaming mechanical board for another time. This one comes out of the box already perfect in my eyes: nothing fancy about the compact layout, but the minimalistic aesthetics and clacking responsive linear touch are so natural I do not want to change a single physical thing. With a premium mechanical keyboard, you can freely change switches for preferred feel or replace keycaps for style; and that is only the beginning. As to be expected for premium pricing it delivers on complete features. Outstanding construction and materials. Lasting battery strength. Intuitive QMK/VIA software. South-Facing RGB LEDs clearly illuminate key letters. With the heavy-duty build quality, I have no worries. I love the elegance of modular design to disassemble for extremely thorough cleaning; which technically also allows for advanced mods like changing plates et cetera (that would void warranty). It has a lengthy feature list in the "About this item" section that needs no repeating here. Everything said there is accurate, in my opinion. Even better though, go to the manufacturer site for a tour with pretty pictures & videos.Downloading software from the manufacturer requires having the keyboard connected for the web app to auto-detect it; this ensures exact compatibility. QMK/VIA supported keyboards are much more advanced than a mere configuration app telling Windows how to use it. You are programming the feature settings in firmware.QMK, short for Quantum Mechanical Keyboard, provides coding level functionality for redefining keys, macros, all the cool things a mechanical keyboard can do. Settings are flashed to firmware. VIA is a simplified graphical interface to make these customizations in real-time without needing to constantly flash firmware at every step. The JSON file you download from KiiBOOM loads all necessary configuring code for the keyboard; V3 JSON file supports newest features and advanced customization options. A special key combo can reset or just load the original JSON file. Enables a massive level of customization including layered key functions, so a single key can perform multiple Fn tasks, helpful for a compact keyboard with fewer keys.Programming keymaps can sound daunting but the installation is straight forward, and VIA is not difficult to use. You can ignore the feature if you want because there are already default Fn shortcuts to control RGB and all basic functions — refer to the manual. The package includes a foldout manual (5-pages in English, can be cropped to smaller poster size), high quality shielded USB cable, hex key, and nice keycap & switch pullers. I have never dealt with KiiBOOM for customer support; their reputation is satisfactory from what I hear — contact by email or support chat. Limited 1-year replacement warranty.

Incredible sound
The media could not be loaded. This is honestly one of the best pre builds I’ve ever heard. The perfect creamy keyboard sound and I didn’t even have to lube it up or do anything to it.The bird itself is heavy duty, great weight to it with the solid aluminum casing and I love the dual colours. The sound is great and the feel is also awesome. The only complaint I have is the connection is a bit iffy. As a collector I have plenty of keyboards, both wired, wireless or both and I’ve never had as many troubles connecting a keyboard as I have with this one. The wire it came with doesn’t work, no matter where I plug it into my pc, the wireless piece does work well however not in the usual usb plug in where I would normally plug in my other wireless computer Bluetooth pieces, it only registers in one random unused usb port at the back but nowhere else. And since the cord doesn’t work (nor any other cords I have tried even though it is a simple USBC cord) I have to charger the keyboard with a USBC cord and a charging block like it’s my phone. Which is just the strangest thing in my opinion, luckily I have plenty of chargers including some 10ft long ones so I can easily charge it while continuing use but I can definitely see this being very annoying for some people. I have tried to look up this issue hoping maybe someone had a similar issue but I can’t seem to find anything. All in all, it’s a weird connection issue maybe I just got a dud keyboard simply for the connection portion otherwise it’s truly a great keyboard and I am very very impressed with it
