New camera
The service was very good from start to finish. they answer my questions and advise me to try various ways of getting the camera to work all up and running now and I would not hesitate to contact them with any problem.Good camera for sheds and garages where you don't have power or the WiFi signal doesn't reach. The quality of the footage for both day and night are brilliant, and I can clearly see what is going on in the garden. The camera takes a SD card and with enough storage you can record as much as you want. Motion detection is good, easy installation. The solar panel has worked well even though sunshine has been scarce recently. No WiFi capability so you do need to pay for a data-only sim once the free data runs out.

Xega Security Camera works perfectly.
The media could not be loaded. I've been using the Xega Security Camera for a while now, and so far, it works perfectly. My friends and family use it quite a bit, so I upgraded to the 20W solar panel, which keeps the battery at 100% most of the time, definitely worth it. The dual-lens system provides clear, sharp images, making it easy to focus and pinpoint details. Motion detection is reliable, and the camera promptly sends alerts to my phone. The monthly cost is reasonable, and I’ve made use of the in-app purchase feature without any issues. Overall, a great security camera with solid performance!

4G Security Camera
This is an interesting niche use camera, with 4G access only - there is a provided sim () which uses the O2 network in the UK, with a 300Mb capacity to test it out - the data contract with the provider isn't the cheapest so it's best to use an alternative. The camera itself is similar to others on the market, moving parts and lenses are exposed, so if the weather is particularly bad it may not last as long as an encased dedicated outdoor camera. Security on livestock in a field would be a good use case for a camera. For my backyard, I installed the camera on a post to test it out (there are screws and fixings for masonry, etc); it charged up successfully in the same way as my wifi solar camera and initialised. It's bigger than my other camera, due to the extra lens and battery and is more sluggish at responding to commands perhaps due to the poor mobile reception in my area. The solar charging works surprisingly well as long as the panel is in clear view of daylight. The picture quality is good during the day and passable at night; it's interesting to see wildlife in the garden and when our cats go hunting.I personally would prefer a wifi enabled camera, but this one works fine if you can't get a router or permanent power to a location.

Great support options, 4G coverage & easy setup.
Upgraded version with 2 sets of cameras. The fast tracking crosshair feature is brilliant for quick "point & pan" scanning.Great for close proximity observation in daylight and on clear nights, less-so for anything greater than >50 metres, especially at night or if it's raining/snowing or foggy. The activity detection and recording options are great, I tried adding a Class 10 capable 256GB TF (Micro SD) as alternative to the Cloud Storage subscription but it doesn't appear to function well with anything over 128GB unfortunately. The 4G tariffs are moderately expensive but for peace of mind in a remote areas I can live with that.Great customer service from "KiKi" who has been in touch with after sales support, included an extended warranty period which is hopefully I'm not going to be needing. 🙂

Camera ok, off grid Solar not so much
I purchased this camera to check on our chickens of a night night time, as they are well away from our home electric and WiFi, initially using the included SIM, this worked well and was just what I was looking for, I changed the SIM over to a Sky mobile SIM and all seemed well, however the solar panel decided to stop functioning, the camera works fine with it unplugged, and it also is happy to work with a power bank in place of the solar panel, but the moment you plug the solar in the camera immediately shuts down I thought it might be over changing so left it a while but the same happens even though the battery shows charged or not, remove the solar panel turn off and on again and it comes back to life, which is a massive pain, it was going so well but is now useless as the reason I picked this one was the self contained ability to use it off grid.
