Nice size for a coat pocket.
Print easy enough to read and find your way through. Each day for the Sunday/ Feast has a short introduction explaining the theme. Certainly does help to read the second reading slowly and in peace and quiet, as St. Paul, in particular, can take time to understand. The yearly cycle calendar goes to 2040, so maybe no change for 15 years.

Delivery
I am really pleased with this new edition of the RC missal. The print size is perfect and the guide to the contents so helpful. It arrived in time for me to follow the new readings at mass in Advent and Christmas. How does Amazon do it ? Congratulations to them and their excellent staff who must work very hard. In variably, goods ordered arrive before the time statedMy one reservation is I would have liked the Latin alongside the English, as was the case with my previous missal. Latin has been the lanquage of the church for centuries and should be maintained

Very disappointing - I regret buying it.
There are a few things that I like about this Missal. Unlike my previous one, the Ordinary of the Mass is all together with the Eucharistic Prayers in their own section. This layout makes it much easier to locate the the Communion Rite, starting with the Our Father, after the Sanctus; and few people read the Eucharistic Prayers during Holy Mass. The liturgically coloured ribbons are an impractical gimmick given that Advent Year A is right at the front and Lent Year C is right at the back. You end up with the top of the Missal resembling a May Pole ribbon tapestry. But the biggest gripe is how thin the paper is. FAR thinner than my previous Missal. This not only renders this Missal extremely delicate but makes the font difficult to read in parts; eg the red text on p662 is less easy to read because of the black text on the reverse of the page; even worse is, for example, the black text on p818 because of the bold, black and white image on p817. How on earth this passed quality control, I do not know. It's very poor indeed. As soon as I can get my hands on an alternative Missal, this will be consigned to the flames.

Better than expected
Great book accurate to follow along in the mass, also extra prayers and information that I have deeply appreciated, I also use it to help me pray my daily rosary.

Very nice but with reservations.
My first impression of this hardback Missal is that the content and layout are very nice and, as well as the Mass readings with a “reflection” for each Sunday, there are six appendices of prayers and other devotional material. It is clear that a lot of thought and work has gone into its preparation. It’s a shame that as this all amounts to nearly 1200 pages they are very thin causing print and artwork from other pages to show through which makes reading a bit uncomfortable in places. This is unfortunate as what should be a pleasant experience is a little less so. Still, for a Missal covering the full 3 year cycle it is excellent value.

Order of contents confusing
The Missal looked OK but after using for the first time today I realised that the paper/print was poor quality. The order of contents was confusing and some of the familiar text in the mass was missing. Two of today's antiphons differed from that used in church, naturally I am unable to check ALL the Sunday entries.Pity, I was rather looking forward to a new book!

Missing pages
Overall I like this missal. I’ve looked through all of the great prayers at the back and I’ve noticed that I’m missing pages 1175-1177 which are the very last pages between Go and announce the Gospel of the Lord and In case of an emergency. Does anyone else have these pages missing?Otherwise I like the feel of this missal, it’s well organised but the paper is very thin and I worry it will wear very quickly with use.
