I love this case but I have been having to cut certain areas with an exacto knife because if the camera is covered in certain areas, it won’t pick up the sensor and thus, will not work properly. This case needs adjustments made to it. I literally thought my camera had stopped working altogether until I realized the case was covering sensors too much

I used a silicone case for years on my Canon 80D and liked it very much. So I ordered this silicone case for my new x100VI before my first outing with it, and found the fit quite good, especially around sensitive areas like the viewfinder, the eye detection at the viewfinder back and around the dials on top. Two things did not suit it for my everyday use. One, it is silicone so it has some thickness and so the joystick on the back of the camera, gets a little lost in the hole for it. The silicone around the whole makes the joystick a little shallow. Since I use that joystick quite a bit for focus selection, I knew that wouldn't work out too good. Secondly, the thumb grip for the camera, which mounts into the flash foot, along with the silicone over makes the drive and Ael buttons hard to access. Since I use one of them for back focus, again, that is a little difficult. If I don't use the thumb grip then accessing the buttons is fine. So depending on your use and accesories, along with how hard you are on the camera, this silicone case might work for you.
