Fabric Repair Kit Review
Restor-it Fabric Kit came in condition and by date promised. This kit is great for repairing small holes, cuts, etc. in most types of fabrics and it works great. I bought one a few years ago from a mail order magazine to have in case I needed it. Some time after I bought it I needed to use the color green for a few repairs. I tried it and it worked great. I used most of the green for those repairs. I needed more green again for this recent repair and did not have enough left in the first kit I bought, so I went to Amazon to see if they sell these same type of fabric repair kits because I did not recall the company that I bought my first one from. I am glad that you had them and the price was fairly reasonable, so I bought one. I made the repair the night before writing this review and so far it is holding up very well. Now that I know that Amazon sells these kits, I can use Amazon as my "go to shopping website" if I would need to buy one of these kits in the future. Thanks again!

It was OK not good
So, it had minimal directions. The fiber started to clump up and the fabric would not stick well. But the wire mesh helped alot. I had to put cotton balls in the hole in my seat and cover it with the mesh. I then put a layer of glue and some fabric; another layer of glue and then the fiber. It was decent enough but I felt like you could just buy matching fabric

color matching was perfect
This product is outstanding. Repaired two holes and they look great.

Adhesive doesn't work
As you can see from the photos it looks much better than it did before. But I would not use the adhesive that comes with it. The adhesive was pretty much clumpy and dry so the fibers had a hard time sticking to it. And that is why the finished look is a little bumpy. I used a little wood glue and smeared it on next and then put the fibers on again. My recommendation is just use glue and skip the adhesive that comes with it. I think if I would have done that in the first place I wouldn't have wound up with a clumpy bumpy look. Luckily it's under the arm of the couch (where my cat decided was his scratching post!) so the bumpiness is not so visible. Again, it looks so much better than before!

Waste of money
This was a waste of money. The glue dries in the bottle and trying to match the colors is a nightmare. Don’t waste your time buying this… go to the fabric store and buy the material and glue there. I regret my purchase.

LIFE SAVER!!!! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND
I’m not gone incriminate myself😂 but maybe a certain someone was smoking in a rental n burned the seat🤦🏽♂️ luckily for me I know how to match colors took like 2-3 tires to get the exact color, but I cut a piece of cloth from under the seat so no one would see it n used that to fill the hold n glued it down n then used the fabric n that stuff worked🔥😂 u can tell something was there but it’s 1000 times better than what it looked like
