Tasty
Loved the coffee strength and the ability to alter it with water quantity much more flavoursome than coffee bags. Brilliant for convenience when travelling. Will order again.

Convenient but expensive
I recently saw someone using one of these coffee brewer bags on a camping trip, and was intrigued as I'd not seen them before. When camping, I normally use normal coffee bags, so I was interested to see how these compared. The main claim for this item is the caffeine content, rather than the taste of the coffee, and I can attest to the fact that the brew does indeed give a decent caffeine hit. However, for my taste, I found the coffee to be quite bitter. I should also point out that I brewed the coffee with around 250ml of water for around 8 minutes. I think any less brewing time would have resulted in a coffee that was too weak, and any less water would have made it extremely bitter. The bag itself is quite clever, having and internal filter ready loaded with coffee that you simply add water to and let it do it's thing. Once brewed, the cap in the spout can be broken off and the drink poured out. The packaging claims that the bag can be reused by emptying the used grounds, washing it out, allowing it to dry and then refilling with coffee. I can imagine this to be a huge faff though, and I would think it would only work once or twice before the filter became clogged, so I doubt many people will bother. My main problem with this system is the amount of waste it produces. Although carbon neutral, and recyclable (according to the graphics on the bag) it just seems a very expensive way of having a coffee. I think I'll stick to my coffee bags for now.

Just coffee nothing special
Coffee is ok but really not worth the hassle of making it in the bag this way …Stick to normal coffee made normally.

Great for camping, especially during fell walking
So, I've volunteered to join our fell-walking crew this year to do the 3 peaks and will be looking forward to get me up and running early doors with a cracking strong brew first thing in the morning. Being high in caffeine, this is what you need to get you going, wake you up and keep you rolling for a great length of time.Back home, I've tried this and I can say, it's quite strong. Not being a regular coffee drinker and my norm is decaf, this will certainly give me the boost when needed.Making the brew was a tad finicky as this is a first for me, brew in the bag. The index marking on the side helps you to make the strength to taste. My first attempt, I filled up to mild, but even at this, it was a little strong for me, but there again, not being a regular coffee drinker and decaf on a daily basis, I'm more susceptible to feel the strength more than maybe the average drinker. When filling, make sure you have a proper base as you will be working with hot water, and a bag that may topple over. When I was reviewing this, the price of 7 bags was just under 14 pounds, which is 2 pounds per brew, this is quite pricey, even with it being portable and strong, I feel you may be able to find alternatives for much less, hence why it's one star less.

Tasty but a little messy
Great idea, coffee tasted nice. However, I did find it a little messy as the bag leaked etc and personally I will just revert to other methods of making a coffeeTasted great though
