Sound quality of recorded message is only ok.
You get something like this for the purpose of having the voice of a loved one at your fingertips. The playback sound quality is not overwhelmingly clear, although you can choose the playback volume. It was very simple to record the message and if we wanted to re-record over it that was an easy thing to do as well.

Such a personal touch
I love that you can record a personal message on this frame. It’s super easy to set up. The frame itself is just a plastic frame which is why I only gave it four stars. If it was a really nice wooden or metal frame you could send a message on I would give it five.My LDR SO loved getting the pic with a message so he could hear me anytime.I recommend this item!
