I had ring cameras all over my house before the criminals cut the feed to my wifi. Lesson learned. I moved and bought this for my apartment. Easy to install on my front door. Adhesive is great, that thing it ON THERE! I was thinking about putting it on the bedroom door as well. But the one is loud enough to scare off anyone. The chime is ok for people with different needs. I also like how turning it on doesn't trigger it, you know, like a smoke alarm. Be safe!

Decent product for the price. 1 out of the 4 did not work out of the package. It was missing the plastic battery tab you have to pull prior to use so maybe the batteries were just dead...Depending on the framing and direction your door opens some of them may have to be mounted differently i.e which part attaches to the stable surfaces vs the moving one. If your door has an edged frame at all, like the pic I attached of my front door, there is absolutely no way to make this work where the magnets will align. I tried every possible side and angle of the door; kind of a bummer that the front door is the one it won't work for, so I'll have to find a different type for that. Overall, the ones I did attach to the sliding doors work great. I was worried the single chime mode wouldn't be noticeable enough but now I almost wish there were a volume setting on it, it's loud! There will be no missing it, which is the point. I have 3 small kids and a couple dogs. My daughters room has a sliding door out to a deck that I always worry about her wandering onto at night (I put that one on alarm mode), and they like to go out and leave the front door open which is a huge worry given that I have 2 large dogs that are not dog-friendly and we live in a neighborhood where everyone's lets their pets wander around without leashes all day. Now I can better tell when the door is opened so I can make sure it gets closed! For the doors we use frequently I change it from chime to alarm mode at night, I really like that it's as easy as flicking a switch to go between them, huge bonus. Overall it's a good product, but only works with standard framing. I plan to order more for our windows soon.

These alarms are exactly what I needed for security on vacation with my son who elopes. Super easy to install, just peel and stick, and they’re very loud, which is perfect for alerting us if a door is opened. We’re using them to help keep our autistic son safe, and they’ve brought so much peace of mind. Great value for the price and work exactly as described.

We bought these because our 16 yr son kept sneaking out. These work great & easy to install. The volume is nice & loud. They're a good size. Definitely worth it for the price. I'd buy these again.

These are wonderful. I have some that have been in use for a couple of years and have never had to change the batteries yet.The first set I got didn't have screws on the battery cover, but the newer ones do. This is helpful if you have small kids and worry about the button batteries.The stickiness is great and holds up well to the pressure of turning the alarm on and off.These are great if you have kids who elope or get into cupboards of closets they shouldn't. It has two settings, a ding-dong and then an alarm sound. I typically use the alarm setting and it is loud and obnoxious, exactly what you'd want in an alarm. The ding-dong is great if you're wanting to be aware of doors opening and closing.I use the alarms on the outside door. While having toddlers who loved to play in the toilet I had the ding-dong alarm set on the bathroom door to alert me when they Houdini-d through the handle logs. I have also used the ding-dong to let me know when a toddler has woken up from a nap and come out of their room.I only have one floor, but it's loud enough that I'd imagine you could hear it from a second floor or basement, unless you have a very large house.

These are way too loud for what I wanted them for. I wanted my other to be alerted when I walked into the house. I wish these had a volume adjustment. Also, maybe because we built our house, the door jambs are too thick. I couldn’t get the two pieces to line up. I should have returned them but I did slice into the packaging. Super, super loud. Probably works well if your doors or windows line up properly.
