Best blender yet
Super awesome. I use in my dorm room and kept when moving out and continue to use it at home. My favorite ever and plan to take it with me into the next year.

Random brand, but a high quality & functional blender, with 2 large containers, at a great price.
I’d been looking for a stand-up blender like this to replace a small food processer that I have. While this is designed for making smoothies, I was looking for something to use for making salsas and other sauces. Again, I have a food processer for this, but it’s a pain to clean each time, and I was looking for something smaller and easier to clean after each use. There were so many options, and honestly, after looking at 25+ blenders and the reviews, I got tired of looking and just decided to give this one a try. I’d never heard of the brand, but it had mostly solid reviews, the price was good, it was simple without a lot of features, which is what I was looking for, and I liked that it came with two fairly large containers and lids. I’m glad I went with this. The dimensions were on the listing, but I when it arrived, it was larger than I expected. Not so much the base (it doesn’t’ have a large footprint) but with the container attached, was taller than I thought it would be. However, that’s a good thing, because I found that anything smaller would have been too small, so this was perfect. The fact that it comes with two containers, both with lids, is really nice, in that it makes it quick and easy to do two items in the same instance. The construction and components all seem high quality. Its not quiet, but it’s also not too loud. It’s probably also more powerful than the size would convey, but I wouldn’t try to push it too much. While I bought this for making salsa mainly, in which it does a spectacular job, I have indeed used it for its intended purpose of making smoothies, and no surprise, does this just as well. If you’re on the fence comparing blender options, I’d encourage you to give this brand you’ve likely never heard of a chance, and probable save some money in the process. It’s a basic blender, but it basic blends very well, and won’t take up too much space. I store mine in a cabinet because I don’t like anything on my counters when not in use, however, it looks nice enough, and has a fairly small footprint, so you could just as easily keep it out all the time. This is not a portable model, it does need to be plugged in. When I was looking, many options were portable and needed to be charged in advance. I personally didn’t want that, as I had no intention of whipping up stuff while out and about, and I think the plug in options are more powerful, and don’t require having the foresight to keep anything charged. Anyway, this is a nice blender at a great price. Go for it, and save yourself another 45 minutes of reading reviews.

Maybe not a good product
It never worked! I thought I had it hooked up wrong and I did. I didn’t see the arrows to line it up. My son was in for Oregon this past week and I asked him to check to see if he can get it to work and it did not. I called the company just today went over issues with him. He said his defective. So my loss I didn’t return it within 30 days. But I would never buy this product again and I do hope people read this review!

Probably a darn good machine
I have small hands and these lids are difficult for me to reach around and turn to get off. So for the 10-15% of ya be warned. And you have to line the cup up just right to get the motor to turn. So for the percentage of folk that wake up like uncoordinated idiots like me, you might want to think about that. It’s probably the best darn machine in the world. It gives you two cups which is nice if you didn’t get around to washing the other. And a to go lid for those barbarians that must eat in public

Does not fully crush ice - There is a workaround
If you add ice to your protein shake, like I do, no matter how long you blend it, small chunks of ice will not be crushed! There is a workaround solution for this, but it is a two-step process. If you crush your ice first, then add milk and protein powder and blend a second time, it will work well. It's a little more aggravation, but it's worth it. After reading many reviews, all brands of smoothie blenders, even expensive ones, are going to eventually leak, especially if you use it every day. My Nutribullet was great for about 2 years, then it started leaking, occasionally, but not every time. I replaced the blade, gasket, and cup, and it still leaked. I've decided that instead of paying a lot of money for a Ninja or Nutribullet, I'll buy a cheap, off-brand blender (like this one) on sale and, when it starts leaking, I'll throw it away and buy a new one and probably still come out ahead. This is definitely not a green solution, but with this kind of personal blend-in-a-cup appliance, it's unavoidable.

Best purchase I've made for my kid all year
If your kid wants to make smoothies at home - do it. I was happy eating my food not blended, and I've owned some not very great food processing machines in my life, so I didn't know what to look for in a smoothie blender. I was all for it, but expected to figure out what works best by trial and error. I liked the idea of being able to control the speed etc. with a manual dial, and the six leaf blade seemed like a sensible feature as well. I think I picked the right one for us, and don't think we would have been happier with something more powerful or with more accessories... somehow, we seem to have done it right the first time!My kid LOVE his smoothies, loves to make his own all natural, completely healthy snacks, he cleans the equipment when he's done (he's 10), and I don't have to lift a finger. What a brilliant machine! We've had it a month, and it's great. It doesn't do a completely thorough job with ice (or frozen juice), and seems to have a harder time getting through ice at first. Maybe it's just louder, I don't know. We could try starting with smaller ice chunks, but the kid doesn't especially like ice anyway, and we love the smoothie maker and don't want to stress it out, so we mostly avoid ice, just in case. We have a freezer full of berries and exotic fruits now, which we mix with fresh fruit, various juices, milk, ice cream... I've even raided the spice rack a few times, though the kid is happiest with just fruit and milk or juice. Oh, and it's not quiet. But ya know, the child was never quiet before, so the new noise is just another noise to me :D
