It's so far a very good bedding , hardly any dust ,price wise it's ok when you get it over Amazon ( you do save compare to others that offer, the volume of 178 litre is fantastic for the price compare to other brand name paper bedding I used )It's very soft , smells neuteral and absorbed my guinea pigs Grayson and Tillies pee very good it's easy to clean away . I definitely will reorder soon to have spare for when I need it . Very fast delivery over UPS and the delivery driver was very help and respectfulSo so far a big yes compare of other bedding I used . This stuff is great, low dust so better for our pet's respiratory health than wood shavings. Paper can be more expensive so I bought the largest bag possible to maximize value for money and this is a whopping size bag. We like to put in a good 8 inches of bedding so our hamster can burrow and tunnel, and we completely replace the bedding once a week with a one or two minor cleans during the week when we remove damp or soiled areas and the bedding has lasted eight weeks. It is soft enough for our hamster to sleep in and sticks together enough so that his burrows retain their structural integrity. Henry Hamster is very happy.

This bedding is great, lasts a long time also. I previously used Kaytee bedding which I had to get 4 bags of 24.6 L a month. Which cost me roughly £44 a month. And I’d get about 98L worth. With small pet bedding I get 178L for less!Bedding was my main spend on my degus as I have to clean them every other day (for small things I didn’t expect so much to come out the rear end...). I’ve previously bought small pet bedding and loved it, it lasts me a month and a half, it’s soft, absorbent and it’s not as dusty as the kaytee bedding (kaytee was literally bellowing dust as I was breaking it up to put in the cage). It arrives in just under a week also which is great if you need it quick!I’d recommend this bedding to everyone with a small pet. As long as it stays in stock I’ll be sticking with this bedding.The company that sold it seem very appreciative as I had a “thank you : )” note on my second order.

Really good quality especially for the price. Have found it softer than other brands I have used but it works really well. Holds tunnel shapes perfectly. Quite lightweight compared to other brands so takes a bit more compacting. Love the natural colour. Not too dusty.

I've used a number of paper-based beddings for my hamsters and I was starting to get frustrated with how expensive these can be. So, when I spotted Small Pet Select's bedding, I was immediately struck by how much you got for the price. On receipt, the bedding is clearly as good as the higher priced competitors - it's soft, absorbent and holds its shape well to enable your pet to burrow. I wasn't able to give full marks as it is still quite dusty, but I think dust is 'par for the course' with most paper based bedding. Before putting it in my pet's enclosure, I use a large laundry bag to give the bedding a good 'shake down' before using it. Once this is done, it's ideal! Thanks!

Amazing!!!! So super soft, isn't dusty, amazing amount for your money! Will definitely buy this again and again! My hamster loves it and has a great time burrowing! I am chuffed!

I purchased this for my rabbit as iwas using sawdust before and found it got everywhere can be very messy but since purchasing the natural bedding paper i am very happy and pleased with it it might seam its not alot but its prefect size i have a large rabbit cage and it did not take alot of the paaper bedding infact it was much better than sawdust and i would definitly recommend it the price is great when my rabbit does the toilet the papper bedding does not spread out everywhere especially with pee and its easier to scoop out the cage without having to just about empty it unlike sawdust when wet it would spread far so if you needed to take out the used part it was useless but not with this paper bedding its fantastic best purchase ever will definitly get more when needed, Also when cleaned out my rabbit took me less time to do than normal with the paper bedding than it did with the sawdust so very happy and pleased with the time i have used it will definiltey be buying more and sticking to the papaer bedding will not go back to sawdust,

Purchased this bedding for my elderly rabbits, one of whom who had a mammary tumour on their belly. For almost 10 years I had used wood shavings without issue but felt that paper would be softer and more comfortable towards the end of their lives.This bedding was not nearly as absorbant and 2/5ths of the largest bag was used to substantially cover their 2 storey hutch. I dismissed the significant amount of dust that covered me after laying down their bedding, thinking the dust particles were too large to have any effect.Despite this, for the first time in their lives, one rabbit came down with a respiratory infection within 4 days of changing the bedding. Perhaps it was a coincidence. Even the vet said that this tends to happen more when switching from paper to shavings when I had brought her in for an emergency treatment.She received antibiotics and I switched straight back to their shavings that night. Both of my rabbits were very elderly and have been euthanised together this week. (To note, their euthanasia was long due and a decline in health could have easily made her more susceptible to infection.) Her respiratory illness was mild and she had well recovered 3 days later when euthanised.All in all I regret the purchase of this product. I had no issue paying the amount for their comfort but ultimately one rabbit was put in a state of discomfort (very likely from the bedding) and I have 3/5ths of a bag left to throw on the bonfire this year.
