After reading some poor reviews on similar products at the big box stores, I decided to take a chance on this one even though there weren't many reviews. It is a perfect fit for the space I had available. For the money paid, I think it's a good deal. When fully assembled this unit is plenty sturdy. It was very simple to put together and it took about 30 minutes. I don't know about the 3000 pound claim, but I can see it easily holding over 100 pounds per shelf. Knowing what I know now about it, I'd buy it again.

I ordered not one, but two of these shelves for my pantry. Very easy to assemble, just have to be mindful of how the parts are assembled to one another. Very sturdy. I would recommend to the company to provide as an option, corrugated plastic to fit on the wire shelving if you’re going to store items other than totes. I did use the heavy duty cardboard that the shelves were shipped with. Fit just right.

My only complaint is that this shelf is basically two sections stacked on top of one another. This is fine once you have it where you want but it very easily comes apart if you attempt to move it. Tip: hold and maneuver from the bottom half. That said, thisnis only an issue if you need to move the shelf.Once together and in its final resting place, the shelving unit is very sturdy and holds up very well. No wobble or concerns with it tipping over (assuming placed on level ground) and wire shelves are very strong.Worth the price paid and may consider getting another one shortly.

I (71 YO female) first bought the 36 inch wide and put it together wtih 69 YO sister. We liked it so much I ordered another 55 inch wide and another 60 inch wide also REIBII. We put together the last one today and it stores everything we need perfectly. No basements here in Florida so we use these to store holiday decor, and everything else that isn't in the house. Easy to put together, and I liked we could put the shelves where we wanted to stagger them. All the pieces were there, easy to install, it comes in many sizes for you.

This would be Light/Medium Duty at best. Metal is sturdy but flexible. Shelves are thin sheet metal that can twist and bow. Do not view the pictures and think your going to stack thousands of pounds on this shelving unit unless you want to put yourself in a hazardous situation. The sizing is nice with six shelves and rolled edges on the posts. The posts however have a plastic joining piece and is not a single post. This not only weakens the structural integrity but also forces you to have a fixed shelf to join the two posts. The powder coating looks good except the packaging was horrible... all of the metal pieces could freely move around in the top of the box causing several scratches and wear marks. IF this was a truly heavy duty unit with the manufacturer using a thicker steel and no jointed posts, it would have got 5 stars. Unfortunately its a typical inferior Chinese product that visually looks good but is falsely advertised to be something it is not. Oh and they charge $49 shipping! Save your money and look elsewhere.

This is really solid when assembled correctly. You REALLY have to make sure the shelves are sitting in the slots ALL the way down. Even after using the mallet I had to go back and drive many of them in further. After that is was super sturdy. My only caveat is that if some shelves are placed close together it can be a bit tricky to get them in. I bent one of mine slightly. You need to come in from the top and install the top shelf last. I do think it is a bit pricey. I paid $209 plus $50 shipping. But honestly, I could not find a seven foot system that was also at least 4 ft wide. This is 7 ft x 54". Love the size.

Ordered a 48.2 shelf. What I received was 46. You pay for it to ship to you and they expect you ta pay for return shipping when they either, 1. Send the wrong item 2. lie about the actual size. Amazon has been 0 help trying to resolve it. The shelf was not only to small but super flimsy. You get the same quality from Walmart for about 1/3rd the price. BUYER BEWARE. I'm sure they do this just to make money knowing most people don't want to repack and pay to return when they receive the wrong size. Save your self a headache and money, buy anywhere else.
