Golden Sip2014 Raw Tea Cake Shen Puerh Tea Icelandic Ancient Tree Yunnan Qizi Puer Tea 357 g

The tea arrived sooner than estimated delivery dates. The tea came packaged beautifully. The smell of the tea fresh from the packaging was so enticing I had to brew a taste of it right away . I decided to just simply and gently run my fingers over the cake and to make a soup (cup of tea) with what ever dislodged. Because this is a green tea , I did brew between 95 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit. And though I only used a scattering of loose pieces and bits with just a couple leaves, it was enough for about 3 cups. The first cup I brewed just under 60 seconds. The second cup I brewed closer to about 90-ish seconds ( maybe a little more) and the 3 cup I brewed the whole time it took me to drink the second cup , just to see how "strong" it would become. Even that 3rd brew was an absolute delight on the pallet. The clarity is stunning. ( my phone does not do it justice). The smell is lightly fragrant and enchanting to the senses as a good green tea should be. I should have poured from the brewing gaiwan into the drinking gaiwan using my strainer, but I was to excited to embrace formalities at the moment . But the soup (cup of tea) was warming, rejuvenating and refreshing at the same time . I can't wait to share this with my granddaughter who was born in 2014. She loves green tea and will be tickled I could find a tea made ready the same year she was born. And I can not wait to try the 2021 Large Leaf Black tea that came with it in such lovely packaging. If I read correctly it"s names is Hongyun ( Dianhong tea). Now, with all that said, I will definitely buy this green tea again and highly recommend it to any one looking for a delightful experience with a green puerh .

tea quality is not the best one

This was my first experience with Shen Puerh, and it was fantastic! The taste is earthy with a very slight bitterness. I brewed at 90-95 degrees Celsius, poured the first pot out quickly, tasted the second pot after 15-30 seconds steep time, and it tasted perfect.

Greentea in a cake. When you put a peace in hot water, the leafs fold open and reaaly are green with an excellent taste.
