The big reveal is so worth it!
The instructions were not always 100% clear so I made a couple of mistakes but we persevered and once everything was done you couldn't even tell! When you are making every small piece it is hard to picture the end product. When you finally get to pop in the dust cover and turn on those lights it is simply jaw dropping. The price is amazing for what you get. The detail is incredible and I can't wait to build the next one.The wiring made me nervous but I managed it and the automatic sensors are so cool and satisfying.

Very well made!
I have put together maybe 15 book nooks over the years and I have to say this is the best quality of all of them and not nearly as expensive as some of the others I have done. The instructions are fine but what was really impressive was the quality of the pieces and how they all fit together exactly how they are supposed to. There are spare parts to some of the built pieces but I didn’t need to use any of them, everything went together without a hitch! The lighting was very easy to install and looked great. I will be looking for more book nooks from this manufacturer!

Beautiful end product, but a few concerns.
Beautiful end product, but a few concerns:1. The included lights/wiring did not work. I ended up not using the wiring and installed my own mini fairy lights that I had on hand.2. The assembly instructions could have been a bit more clear at key times - I was unable to slide the dust cover into place, so I had to glue it. This definitely could be user error but I had others look at the instructions and verify they weren't sure what I could be doing wrong to cause the issue.3. NONE of the pieces "clicked" together like they appeared to be able to do, which I expected after my experiences with other book nook retailers. I used a LOT of super glue due to this.4. The book covers were not stickers. They had to be cut out individually and glued on to the wooden rectangles. It was a painstakingly long process.Overall, the kit left a bit to be desired but I did love the flexibility it offered. It is definitely a beautiful addition to the collection and assembling it was a fun project, even with the setbacks.

Very Frustrating!
This was the third book nook I've put together and I was really excited for it, but it was incredibly disappointing. For one, you have to cut out and glue just about every thing in there, and glue isn't supplied. This was a really frustrating process because it took forever and no matter how little glue I used, the paper seemed to wrinkle underneath. Secondly, none of the pieces clicked together to make a secure piece. This is completely different than what I am used to, and it made building everything very frustrating. I am a pretty levelheaded person and I almost smashed the entire piece trying to get the walls on because they wouldn't stay up/together. Finally, the instructions could absolutely be better, because there was a lot of trial and error. The other ones I have completed took 1-2 days, this one took about 2 weeks because of everything I have stated. I got it on sale, which was still too much for the quality of product, but I would absolutely not buy it if it were full price.

Nice!
This is the first book nook I have ever made. It was a challenge, and I was not expecting something that would just snap together. Honestly, this was a very fun project. The quality was better than expected. They give you a list of tools needed for assembly. Scissors, ruler, needle(?), paper towel, and thread(?) Let me add to that list. I used a razor blade to separate the pieces because of the thickness compared to an exact knife. A small file to smooth the edges of the wood pieces, and a brown sharpie to color in the marks from the file. I used a small side cutter for the solid copper wire used for candles. The file was used to put a point on the wire to simulate a flame on the candle as well. A small metal ruler was used for a straight edge to fold the paper used for the books, and whatnot. A lighter, or heat gun, is needed for the shrink tubing used for the wiring connections. I used binder clips, small woodworking clamps, and zip ties, to hold the pieces in place while the glue set. Some of the supplies I already had, like the glue syringes, and the various clamps. I did buy a variety of glue pens, which I highly recommend. The only problems I had, was with the wiring. Once I figured out how the instructions were actually explaining the process, it became pretty self explanatory. A wire stripper can be used for the wires coming from the battery box, but the wires coming from the lights were too small for the stripper. I scored the insulation with the razor blade, then was able to pull it off with my fingers.Do not expect to have this together in a couple hours. I did not keep track of my time spent, but I would estimate it at about 20- 30 hours. I am looking forward to starting my next one!

Love it
I haven’t completed too many book nooks but find that I like this type the best. It has just enough fabrication of items to make me feel that there is a lot of detail yet I’m not spending hour after hour assembling plants, bottles, bags, etc. that some other kits have. For myself, those very detailed nooks and dollhouses may look great but they get too tedious for my taste. This one was a nice mix of simple and detailed and I love the ending result. I also love that this one comes with a dust cover and wish that more book nooks did. The price for this was better than many on the market and looks great. Instructions were easy to follow and all pieces were there. My Amazon rating system-Five stars-Great item. May have a minor flaw that does not detract from appearance or function.Four stars-Great item. Flaw or problem more noticeable. Or, price may be high for what it is.Three stars-Good item. Has a flaw/problem that requires more work than should be invested in a product. Two stars-May be a good item with work. Or, doesn’t work for me but may for someone else. One star-Nope. Doesn’t work for me and probably won’t for anyone else.
