Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bout this because people stated these wooden scrapers are safer, protect the grates, etc., etc. this one was specific to my grate size and thickness which is nice. But it really doesn’t clean any better than a scratch pad or scratch pad like grill brushes. I’ve only used it twice on my last two cooks, so I’ll give it some time. May have to play with temp during cleaning to see if that improves its effectiveness. But for me it seems to push the food to the bottom of the rack. Not off the rack. Meaning it sticks to the bottom of the ring. Fit:Traeger Pro22

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Giving it a 5 because it doesn’t work for my Woodridge Pro, but it didn’t say it would. The grates are clearly a different spacing than the other series. So if you have a Woodridge, Pro or Elite. This one will not lineup for your grates.

I really wanted to love this scraper since it’s wooden and designed for Traeger grills, but honestly—it’s just okay. Compared to my metal scraper, this one doesn’t get the job done nearly as well. I kept it around anyway, maybe out of loyalty to the brand or wishful thinking, but it rarely gets used. For the price, I expected better performance. It looks nice and feels sturdy, but when it comes to actual cleaning, it doesn’t quite hit the mark.
