Pretty decent 4x4 MiMo antenna
I bought this to solve my 3 5G broadband issues. Although I live in London, my signal suddenly went from good 5G to terrible 4G. This could be due to construction work, cranes, etc. affecting my signal, or just bad luck.No one seems to know much about them. Comments are few and not very helpful. Obviously, it's hard to say whether the results will be the same for everyone. The next question is whether the cheaper model will work as well as the more expensive model.I decided to go with this blue box. I can say I was not disappointed. I went from poor signal to good signal and then back to 5G.Installation is easy. If your router has 4 gold connectors labeled antenna and a switch labeled int/ext, then you need a 4 mimo antenna - or have 4 wires. If there are 2, that's 2. The cord that comes with the box is only 1m long (they recommend no more than 5m, but you'll need to buy an extension cord, so it's best to find a way to make it work with 1m). Then you just use the screws on the adapters that come in the box, attach them to the ends of the wires, plug them (in any order) into the back of the router, flip the switch to EXT and you're done. But, in this case, it's even more valuable. I put the box out the window and checked my phone on the router app and saw good signal, then installed the wall mount and put the box on top using the screws and 3m stickers they give you. It's sturdy. It's unobtrusive and I have strong 5G.Whatever you do, don’t be put off by thinking it requires technical knowledge. If your router has a mimo aerial connector (like the 3 mobile router) then this is plug and play. If you don't, then it doesn't work.It is also important to install it outdoors and keep the antenna's view unobstructed.Hope this helps with the router, I'm glad I did!
