Exceptional Lighting Experience with Nanoleaf
I've been a long-time user of Nanoleaf products, and I've always been extremely satisfied with their performance. This time, I decided to order through Amazon for a change, hoping for a quicker delivery, and I wasn't disappointed. The product arrived promptly, in perfect condition, and was well-packaged. The installation process was as straightforward as always, thanks to the user-friendly instructions provided by Nanoleaf. The panels are easy to connect and mount, and the app setup is a breeze. The lighting quality is top-notch, just as I've come to expect from Nanoleaf. The colors are vibrant and the brightness levels are adjustable to suit any mood or occasion. The rhythm feature is a personal favorite, creating a lively ambiance in sync with the music. The Nanoleaf app is intuitive and allows for easy customization of the light panels. The array of colors and scenes available is truly impressive, offering endless possibilities for personalization. The panels also integrate seamlessly with my smart home setup, allowing for voice control which is a major plus. The energy efficiency of these lights is another aspect worth mentioning. Despite their powerful output, they consume minimal energy, making them an eco-friendly choice for home lighting. In conclusion, I'm thrilled with my purchase and the fast delivery service provided by Amazon. The Nanoleaf light panels have added a dynamic and modern touch to my home decor. They are a bit of an investment, but in my opinion, they are worth every penny for the quality and versatility they offer. I would highly recommend Nanoleaf products to anyone looking to enhance their lighting experience.

Not Working, 3 Days & No Response To My Support Ticket
I bought the 3pk and only one of the panels responds to the app, the others light up but just stay bright w no changes. I created a customer support ticket with Nanoleaf Support and three days later they still haven't replied. Customer support works 15hrs a day, 7 days a week but still no response.1st paragraph from their email to me..."Our customer and technical support teams are online seven (7) days a week and our hours of operation are 9:00am EDT/EST until 11:59pm EDT/EST. So hang tight, we're confirming that your request has been received and we'll loop back with a response shortly."

Great Ceiling Light, Not Truly Modular
First, the good stuff. Starting with brightness. Each panel individually is of comparable brightness to other individual ceiling lights, especially at their price point ($250 / 3 = ~$83 per panel). Plus you get dynamic color and temperature (i.e. how warm or cool the white light mode is) for each panel. Then when you multiply their brightness by 3, since you can only get them in 3-packs right now, you get a ceiling light that really can't be beat in terms of brightness and its color/temperature control capabilities. It's also relatively simple to install. Unless you have DIY experience with other ceiling lights, I wouldn't recommend doing this yourself, it's not quite *that* simple, but if you have an electrician or handyperson you like then it would take them a trivial amount of time to install this.Since it connects over wifi, it could theoretically act as a Matter/Thread router in the future, but right now does not have that capability. Why does that matter (no pun intended)? Because it basically can act as a range extender once it has that capability, meaning you can control wifi-enabled devices via Matter/Thread from further away from your primary router or access point because the Skylight is effectively a range extender for such devices. Can't do it yet, but the possibility is there which is nice. The temperature and colors are quite nice and you can really notice even minor differences in the colors because of how bright it is. You can also get different panels to be different colors. Right now I can only get that to happen through pre-designed scenes, I don't know if it's possible to customize that yet and have each panel by addressable in the app controls, but if a pre-designed scene can do it then technically you could do it to as long as they opened up the interface to it.Now the downsides. As some have mentioned, it can feel slow to adjust the color/temperature/brightness of the lights. Especially if you're coming from Hue lights, it'll feel sluggish for sure. Then again, Hue lights operate over their own protocol, so you either control the lights directly from your phone or via a Bridge which uses that custom protocol for fast and direct communication. The Skylight operates via wifi meaning you have to send requests to your wifi router which then sends it over a slightly less performant protocol to the Skylight, resulting in noticeable lag. It's not awful, but it is what it is.Also, it's not truly modular. It's not specified anywhere, but each pack only comes with a single "Controller Unit", and you *need* this unit to be able to control the lights. Although you could hook up the other panels separate, you could NOT be able to control those other panels through an app, meaning you also couldn't change the color/temperature/brightness, you would only have on/off capabilities at the switch. So really it's just that the shape you create with the panels is mostly modular; restrictions obviously apply since you need each panel to be physically near another panel so you can daisy-chain them together. And the cord for the controls is super short, so you couldn't e.g. put the panels corner to corner with no edges touching because the control cord simply wouldn't be able to reach from one panel to the next, meaning you'd get on/off at best and nothing else.Originally I had thought this was a great value at ~$83/light because the brightness of an individual panel was already more than the existing ceiling lights I have in my 2 bedrooms are capable of, but ultimately the Skylight is just one light with 3 "bulbs" (i.e. panels).- Home Assistant Integration -One thing I want to call out is that it is very simple to integrate Nanoleaf with Home Assistant, which I do. I also got a Lutron Aurora Dimmer Switch, which converts an on/off toggle light switch to a "smart dimmer switch." Although the Aurora Dimmer is primarily marketed for Hue integration, and is *great* with Hue lights, you can also connect it to any Zigbee hub, so I got a cheap Sonoff Zigbee USB 3.0 stick, plugged it into my Home Assistant server, and now I can control the brightness of my Skylight with a dimmer switch. The lag is definitely more noticeable using this method, but not by a lot, and the simplicity it adds to the light control process is well worth the slight and noticeable delay. It's much easier for me to just click the dimmer or turn the knob to make quick adjustments to the Skylight than it is to open any app on my phone and navigate to the appropriate section to make adjustments. It's even faster overall than using voice commands.Overall, I really like the Skylight, it's just a shame that they don't sell Controller Units individually, because I would gladly have purchased 3 individual Controller Units instead, even if they ended up being a bit more expensive (like $100/ea), because they still would have been a strong contender against other ceiling lights in the space. Especially since the Aqara T1M ceiling light is basically unavailable in my region.

Awesome Show Stopper
The media could not be loaded. Unlimited color combinations and effects. Highly recommend to take your time mounting your lights. I did one panel at a time using potato chip clips for alignment and making sure everything was just right. Did have early issues with lights turning off my scene after 5 minutes when paired with Alexa, but once I pressed the reset button on main panel for what seemed like 2 minutes have not had that problem. There are times throughout the day where my scene will stop between 30-90 seconds but is not bothersome and perhaps can be fixed with a firmware update. Overall a fantastic product.
