Works well
Well made, does the job, but beware it is quite heavy to use for any period of time.

Power cable is not very long
Power cable is not very long if you are polishing a boat or big vehicle, I have replaced it with a longer one

DIY Car Detailing Done (Almost) Right
I'm a big believer in taking care of my car, but paying for professional detailing services can get expensive. So, I decided to try my hand at DIY polishing with the Mookis Car Polisher. Here's a breakdown of my experience:The Good Stuff:Powerhouse Performance (Kind Of): With a advertised 1400 watts, this polisher packs a punch. It tackled minor scratches and swirls with surprising ease. For a beginner like me, the power felt sufficient for most tasks.Variable Speed Control: Having eight variable speeds allowed me to adjust the intensity depending on the job. Starting slow for initial polishing and ramping up for tougher blemishes felt safe and gave me some control over the process.Buffing Pad Buffet: The included 13 buffing pads offered a variety for different polishing stages. While I wasn't sure about all of them, having options was helpful, especially for someone starting out.A Reality Check:Missing Manual Mayhem: The biggest letdown was the lack of a decent user manual. The included instructions were minimal and not very informative. Learning how to use the polisher safely and effectively relied heavily on online tutorials and forums.Mystery Meat Quality: The quality of the included buffing pads was a bit suspect. Some felt a little flimsy, and I wasn't sure about their long-term durability. Investing in a separate set of high-quality pads might be a good idea. Not Quite Beginner-Friendly: Despite the variable speeds, this polisher felt more suited for someone with a little car detailing experience. Without proper knowledge and technique, it could be easy to damage your car's paint.Overall, A Mixed Bag:The Mookis Car Polisher has the potential to be a decent tool for DIY car detailing, especially for the price. However, the lack of a proper manual and the questionable quality of some components make it a bit risky for absolute beginners. If you're willing to do your research, invest in some better buffing pads, and take your time learning proper technique, it might be a good option. However, for those who prioritize ease of use and guaranteed results, a professional detailing service might be a safer bet.

Handy
For buffing the car is OK but may not stand up to workshop pace for very long. But value for money.

Powerful and versatile bundle
This thing is a serious bit of kit, and the bundle is very generous.ProsHeavy dutyStepless speed controlWeightEasy pad swapLots of extrasSpare motor brushesLeft or Right handedSanding padsConsHeavy (but I appreciate that)Cord length is a bit shortWhen I opened up the box I was surprised how big this polisher was, it's a big bit of kit and quite heavy, I was also surprised at all the included accessories which make it so versatile.Swapping the pads is very easy, the main pad has a Velcro surface and you simply pop the sponge pads on for general polishing, it also accepts standard round Velcro sanding pads, the included sanding discs are quite coarse (160 grit) which is fine for rough sanding but you can purchase much finer ones if you need them. The polisher comes with two different handles which screw on, you can orientate them for either Left Hand or Right Hand operation, the main grip handle is the best option for polishing and buffing, the other simple handle is better for heavy sanding, I appreciated the option. The main polisher is impressive, the weight seemed too heavy at first but it turned out to be a benefit as it requires less pressure to polish and buff which helps with fatigue on longer jobs, the motor is powerful and has a good range of revs and it doesn't stall in the slightest, my only complaint is the cable length was a bit too short which was a pain when trying to polish the car roof or bonnet. The range of pads and polishing heads is perfect, especially for a deep polish on old paint as you can step from higher revs coarse cutting polish right through to low revs fine polishing/buffing, I also liked that there were spares of each.My main tip would be; do the polishing in manageable sections, I got carried away and tried to do the whole car in one session and lost the will to live after half way through, but that was from cutting polish to full buffing which was a big job.Overall ConclusionI am seriously impressed with this bit of kit, the performance was flawless, I found the weight to be an advantage and all the accessories made it very versatile, for the price I think it is a bargain, especially for all the elbow grease and time it saved.
