Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya on Knowledge: from Key to the Blissful Abode

Knowledge is the key to any opening. Ibn al Qayyim has very concisely shown amazing gems from various perspectives on the virtuous of knowledge.

I liked the translation. The book took me a while to get into but once I poured deep concentration I benefitted from the passages and evidences put forward. I learnt a lot and continue to make use of his knowledge.

Excellent book and translation. Would definitely recommend.Though, do note that this is not a translation of the entire work 'Miftah Dar al-Sa'ada' as the translator says "This section [on knowledge] represents nearly one-half of Volume I [of 2 volumes] and it is what forms 'Ibn al-Qayyim on Knowledge'" (p. xix)

I would highly recommend any books by Ibn qayyim (rahimahullah). I've read the book in its entirety and I'm humbled by the knowledge of the predecessors and their attitude towards attaining knowledge.
