I was given this to review. Take that into consideration.For this product there is value for this price. These end up being expensive regardless. Being here on Amazon is the biggest reason for why I would choose these in any case. 6 is enough for any project that has aluminum wiring.If you are joining copper to aluminum then look into what is the proper method. Proper type of anti ox jelly/paste, If it is even recomended also the type of lugs, and crimping, etc.4 stars instead of 5 for there being the pre applied jelly. Every aplication is different. These are not meant for outdoor use either. So these are strictly for indoors, most usually in really old houses. Otherwise the best material to use would be copper. Period.I was waiting to see these in person to convey here if there was enough material in these for good conductance. There is no rating for amperage. I cut it open and weighed the aluminum at 2.216oz.At the price of Aluminum that is very very expensive. You should have to remove the jelly and sand off any oxidation prior to use. You can then reapply the jelly. Aluminum oxidation occurs way faster than copper.If you are looking for the best value on these online I definitely agree these are the ones you want though.

Think I'll just say, AhhhWeSome! Sick of diggin' into my electric bag looking for connectors for large cable when I need them. The connectors I have and have used need 1/2 a roll of electric tape to cover up once I find and install. Yeah, these are pricey - but they're nice to have when you need them. Working on a solar system now and am going to need um - Happy to have them.Photo: that is a piece of 1/0 copper cable and an aluminum cable that specs at .349 about 50 thousands larger than the 1/0.
