This set is great! It works on American Girl dolls and most 18 inch dolls. The eyeshadow is cream and goes on nicely but the blush is very powdery and can get everywhere, as well as stain cloth bodies. The lipstick works well and so does the lipgloss. The brushes all work well too and there are many that are usable. The nail polish, while being pigmented and hard (does not stain dolls' fingertips or budge after application) is difficult to remove. In my experience, I have to use the makeup remover on it, then get my nail under the polish and flick it off. It usually is a bit difficult but it comes off in one piece. The makeup remover works, but leaves a shiny residue on the doll's face and takes some rubbing with a shirt or paper towel to remove. This set is well made and gives a lot for the price.

Got this for 8 year old niece. She loved it and played for a long time while I was with her. The makeup itself has difficulty sticking to dolls face and it's a little light for some dolls that already have some cheek and lip color but she loved putting it on and wiping it off to do again. Niece loved it but her mom...not so much.

This is a truly amazing gift! My 5 year old painted her dolls nails and face and it’s easy to come off. It’s a great way for her to entertain herself for hours. Plus, it’s easy to wash off.

My daughters were so excited when we opened the package- they immediately got their dolls to play! I feel I should note that my daughters are 9 and almost 3 so a big gap there, but they both had so much fun playing together with this kit! The makeup containers/ compacts were easy to open and the makeup smelled sweet and fruity. We have one white and one brown toned latin doll and the colors weren't as vibrant on the brown toned doll. They were still noticeable but just not as bright- with that said, my daughters didn't even notice the difference! I only wish it would have come with a carrying case or little purse/bag to store the makeup after opening the box but a small thing compared to how much I saved buying this kit versus the ones sold in the big doll store.

Cute gift for any little girl who loves makeup and dolls. Makeup was recieved out of it package slots but nothing I couldn't put back. Wasn't damaged.

Entertaining makeup set They truly paint and are easy to remove without much work; except for the enamel that is very difficult to remove. But in general, five Star! my daughter love it, and had hours of fun and lots of laughter watching how the dolls are transformed with makeup.
